The Kaweco Brass Sport fountain pen belongs to Kaweco's "Sport" range. Based on their original 1930s octagonal design, Kaweco's Sport pens are designed to be "small in the pocket, large in the hand". They achieve this by means of an oversized cap which when closed, results in a pen just 11cm long, but when posted for writing produces a full-sized pen. Cool, right?! The Kaweco Brass Sport range is made from solid uncoated brass and has a pleasing weightiness (45g) in the hand. Over time it will, unless polished, develop a patina and a look unique to you. In fact, Brass-Sport owners have a bit of a reputation for their obsession with the patina of their pen, and like to compare theirs with others! The Brass Sport comes with a stainless-steel German Bock nib in extra-fine, fine, medium, broad and extra-broad. and uses standard international cartridges.
