I received a sample of this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. I needed a multi-device keyboard because I work simultaneously on a desktop PC and an iPad. I was excited when I opened up the keyboard with how small and compact it was, but also how sturdy it felt once I set it down on my desk. I'm a writer, and a comfortable typing experience is one of the most crucial elements of my job. The keys feel almost like the K780. Not clicky, but firm and tactile. When you press one, you truly feel you are pushing the entire key and committing the character to your device. Some keyboards' keys have left me feeling like I was teetering on the tip of a needle. Honestly, there's only a slight difference between the feel of the keys on this thing and on the Logitech K780. I like that, because that means this thing is smaller, and is just as comfortable to type on. It has the multi-device functionality, just like the Logitech. I was already sold. Then I connected the thing. Let me toss out a suggestion for those who sometimes miss parts of the instructions. It connected immediately, but I was dismayed to find it treated the "cmd" and "alt" keys as "Alt" and "Start", like on PCs. I went for about two days frustrated by this. And then I realized it was human error. Hold the "fn" key and press the "O" key, and it switches to the Mac keyboard layout. Oops! Now, I feel sheepish. Honestly, there is nothing I don't like about this keyboard. I think I would enjoy a bit more of a clicky feel, but with my wife holding office meetings from home, I think the quieter my keyboard is, the happier she'll be. I love this keyboard, and I've stashed my Logitech K780 away for now.

The keyboard is good! It works great. The key travel is smooth, and it supports hotkeys for both Windows and Mac. BUT!First, the constantly blinking LED indicating the connection to BT1 or BT2 is quite annoying.Second, to save battery, it frequently disconnects from the device. Then it reconnects only after pressing several keys, but after three weeks of use, this became incredibly irritating. You start typing, but it only registers from the second or third word.Third, it’s quite loud when typing. When I type on my MacBook at night in the room, no one is disturbed, but with this keyboard, my wife complains that it sounds like I’m banging on the table!)))

I own and have owned many keyboards - a ridiculous number really. While this keyboard is called the "Dual Wireless" which is referring to the fact you can use two different connection methods, but it will actually connect up to three independent devices. Two via Bluetooth and one via their 2.4GHz 128-bit AES encryption dongle. I like the dongle and the fact that for travel it slips directly into the battery holder of the keyboard. Very nice to keep it from getting lost and making it a nice package for travel. I am reviewing this as a professional computer person who mostly uses Mac and iOS devices. I own and have owned many keyboards - a ridiculous number really. While this keyboard is called the "Dual Wireless" which is referring to the fact you can use two different connection methods, but it will actually connect up to three independent devices. Two via Bluetooth and one via their 2.4GHz 128-bit AES encryption dongle. I like the dongle and the fact that for travel it slips directly into the battery holder of the keyboard. Very nice to keep it from getting lost and making it a nice package for travel. Pairing the keyboard worked quickly, but the instructions for me didn't match or were not clear. I had to hold down the Function (FN) key + the F10 key to switch between the various pairing options. The instructions seemed to indicate that you just hold down the F10 button for 3 seconds. That didn't work for me. Once I figured this out pairing to two devices via Bluetooth was quick and switching between them is also convienent. The keys are springing and give some tactical and audio feedback with a nice amount of travel. The battery compartment is also used to provide some upward title for the keyboard that felt comfortable. The unit feels very well made and I plan to use it as an extra keyboard for travel that I can swap between my iPad and my Mac while I am working. This work really well and I prefer a separate keyboard to Apple Magic keyboard for several reasons... the most important is I have several incidents where the iPad fell out of the cover for the Magic Keyboard both of which required me to utilize Apple Care+ for a broken screen. But the other is it just gives me more options for positioning the iPad on a desk and utilize the keyboard in a more comfortable position. This keyboard will become my work travel keyboard and it works great for that. Now that I have used the keyboard a few days there are a few things I would make note of, none of which are deal breakers but to give a honest and complete review I want to mention. First, I already mentioned the instructions seemed unclear or off a bit for me. 2nd, I would mention as a Mac user is the dongle for 2.4 Hz is not USB C so you will need to utilize a dongle if you are a Mac or iPad user and decide you want to use that vs. Bluetooth. Not really not an issue since I assume most Mac users will utilize Bluetooth. Some other keyboards let you connect up to 3 bluetooth devices and it would be nice to have that 3rd connection using bluetooth but I am sure for most people 2 will be sufficient. However, overall, for the price, I think this is a great little keyboard that is well made, comes from a reputable company with great customer support (I have used them not for this keyboard but other products and they have been great), and that I can be used for mutli-device users to provide a good typing experience.

However, that also means your batteries are going to last a REALLY long time. Anyway, I believe it can work with Apple phones, tablets, and computers, along with android phones, chromebooks, windows computers, and even windows phones. (yes, there are phones that exist that run on Windows operating systems) What's more, you can hook it up to three devices at a time and switch between them pretty quickly. What I would really like to see though, is something exactly like this, with RGB lighting. Having that in a super slim keyboard with scissor keys, is almost non-existent. (My first thought was actually, "It's so CUTE!") It's shiny silver with white keys, and it makes me happy to just look at it. The set up diagrams were mostly comprehensible, although I had to puzzle out the image that explains how to toggle through the devices by pressing the F10 button to see what happened. Also, as a writer, I was amused and surprised at the two references to "Chorme" in the set up instructions. The USB dongle works fine with my laptop using the USB-C adapter. The keys are nicely responsive, with just enough of a "click" feel and sound to make me feel terrifically productive without slowing my typing or being annoying to hear. Even without a 10-key pad, I had no problems doing accounting work with it. The multimedia controls work as they should. For my own amusement, I tested it with my iPhone 3GS (from 2008!) and my original iPad (from 2010!), and it paired quickly and worked perfectly using Bluetooth 3.0. I am quite looking forward to being able to travel again, so I can take it with me! I just need to find a case for it. What I'd like to see next from Kensington is a travel touchpad that pairs with the keyboard, so it moves among the devices as the keyboard does-that would be incredibly cool *and* useful!
