I have had ergonomic keyboards by Microsoft, but this one is different. I would not recommend this for a first keyboard of its type, because the keys are a bit close between the F keys and the rest of the keyboard. I find that if you miss the backspace key you might have a couple of calculators pulled up instead. That aspect aside, the keyboard is quite comfortable to use. The keys are quiet and it’s nice to type with. If I needed to replace it, I would get it again. I like it.

I like the keyboard although I initially had some issues with getting it to type correctly. After contacting support, who solved the issue in 5 minutes, I am very happy with the keyboard.

Picture is misleading; this is a very cheaply thrown together keyboard, keys are chiclet design and not oriented like the old MS ergo keyboards, so your fingers don't line up and hit the right keys, and it's hard to have a feel for the keys, being flat and low. I'm pretty annoyed about the whole experience as I would have had free return shipping with Amazon, which is where I will get the next keyboard. The Fellowes Microban ergo keyboard is close enough to the old MS, and is working well, just not wireless. Hope that's helpful to someone. Too bad, this had some great features at a good price point; was just poorly designed using cheap materials.
This keyboard is actually quite comfortable to use. However, it constantly either lags or types letters twice. I type 100 WPM and it definitely cannot keep up with me. At first I thought it was because my cell phone or other electronic equipment was between the keyboard and the USB plug that goes into the computer. But I rearranged my desk so there is no possible interference and the problem persists. My work product at work has become subpar and I'm so much slower than I usually am due to this keyboard. I would not buy if you type over 30 WPM.

I really wanted to love this keyboard and have it work for me. It is very comfortable to use however I have owned two and they both have had the same phantom key issues. A keyboard needs to be a tool that works every time the right way, and so having extra inputs made makes it unusable. I had hoped that i just received one defective item originally, but my replacement has the same issues. Customer Service is also disappointing in that they are not willing to assist in making sure that I have a usable product. I was offered 50% off of my next purchase, which doesn't seem too enticing considering my original purchase is still unusable to me. Very disappointed and frustrated with the products and service.
While technically it works with a Mac, it does not provide Mac function key support, so you can't use the keyboard to do things like adjust the volume or dim the screen. The Alt key is crowded beside the Windows key and they are both small, which is awkward and for Mac users it's unpleasant trying to use the Cmd key. I am switching to the Microsoft Sculpt instead.
