Kicker CSC654 6.5" 2-Way Coaxial Speakers
The Kicker 46CSC654 6.5-Inch 2-Way Speakers are built to deliver clear, dynamic sound with durable construction for long-lasting performance. These speakers provide a significant upgrade over factory-installed options, offering improved clarity and detail for everyday listening. Each speaker features a rigid polypropylene cone supported by a stamped-steel framework for strength and stability. This design ensures accurate sound reproduction without distortion, even at higher volumes. The cone is paired with Kicker’s EVC (Extended Voice Coil) technology, which improves linearity and control for smooth, balanced audio. Surrounding the cone is a UV-treated poly-foam surround that maintains flexibility and durability, even in harsh automotive environments. The 46CSC654 includes a PEI dome tweeter for crisp, clean highs. This tweeter complements the woofer cone to create a full-range sound that enhances vocals and instruments. With a power handling capacity of 100 watts RMS and 300 watts peak, these speakers work well with factory head units or small aftermarket amplifiers for added performance. Installation is straightforward thanks to the 6.5-inch design, which fits easily into most door or dash locations without major modifications. The slim profile ensures a neat fit without interfering with existing panels, making it a practical choice for vehicles with limited space. While the Kicker 46CSC654 offers excellent clarity and improved audio over stock speakers, it is not intended for high-powered systems or heavy bass output. For those seeking deep low-end performance, pairing these speakers with a dedicated subwoofer is recommended. However, for everyday music listening and clear dialogue, these speakers provide a reliable and affordable upgrade. With durable construction, advanced engineering, and easy installation, the Kicker 46CSC654 6.5-Inch 2-Way Speakers are a practical choice for anyone looking to improve in-car audio without complicated modifications.

I am running them at 90watts RMS per channel off an amp and they are seriously loud and lots of base, good highs (but not super bright) but they are missing a bit of midrange. A slightly better option would be the Kicker 47KSC6504 6.5". I heard both models of speaker running off an amp in the soundboard and the 47KSC6504's are maybe 5% better in every way.... but they cost twice as much. Don't waste your money on expensive speakers, the CS are more than fine for $100. The reality is, unless you're comparing them side by side, you would never be able to tell the difference. Overall, these are amazing speakers and they will run very loud and clear off a head unit, but they will sound even better off an amp. For the money, there is no better sounding speaker to run off ... MoreI am running them at 90watts RMS per channel off an amp and they are seriously loud and lots of base, good highs (but not super bright) but they are missing a bit of midrange. These speakers are good in theory. I have these in a 2011 civic, powered by an Alpine KTP-445U 180w amp with an ilw-650 head unit in front doors and rear deck. They're good at mid volume.... I have HPF set on amp at 80hz... the bass sucks out of these... I have to have the amp turned down to a touch above 1/4 because the speakers can't handle much more than that even with the HPF cutting out 90% off the base. Very disappointed from Kicker. Save your money and buy something better. If you're just replacing stock speakers, I guess they would be ok... but if you're looking to push some volume... choose something else.

I got these to replace completely fine stock speakers in my 2017 accord. They require that you buy a mount for these to fit right and this is a must. They just dont sound the same with out them. That being said, I bought 4 of these, a 600 watt alpine multichannel ampalong with a 12in sub and 1500 watt mono amp. So far bestbuy has only had time to get the 2 front speakers put in and not even the amp to them. Still, they hit, they are super loud, and more than twice as good as what the car came with. I'm just excited to throw the amp on and see what 150 watts sounds like instead of the 62.50 they are each getting right now because they are already so amazing. If I can find a way to fit 2 more in the rear doors and another set in the back window I'm going to. THESE ARE ... MoreI got these to replace completely fine stock speakers in my 2017 accord. I bought these based on the large number of positive reviews and have to agree they are excellent speakers and at an excellent price. Nice cast aluminium body hives a rigid base for mounting and presumably sound production. They certainly sound good, particularly in conjunction with sound deadening mat installed in the doors at the same time. Highly recommended.
As an audiophile, musician and tech guru, and envineer to say I have high standards is an accurate but likely an understatement. For what these speakers are intended for and their price point they are a relative bargain. Especially if you can find them on sale even more so. I was initially considering the JBL's but I figured I would poke around before buying. I pushed the button for these after the JBL's and I was taken aback. They not only had more present low end but also a higher, more detailed and focused high end. The midrange was about equal between the two. So I sat back and forth back and forth and I honestly couldn't believe the kickers! They sounded better. With higher power handling and dare I say clearer sound with more bass, I was sold. I have them installed in my Focus RS being pushed by a blaupunkt 175w x4 RMS and they love being pushed. I have an L7 12" Solobaric powered by a 2400w Kicker amp and they have no issue keeping up. Bravo Kicker.
Let's be real, for $79 or $99, these are cheap speakers. But with the right setup, they sound fantastic. I'm running these on my Harley. I can easily hear these at 90mph. These are 200w peak with 100w RMS. Most car head units only put out 35-55 watts per channel. Your sound will not improve just switching the speakers if that's what you're looking for. I am driving these speakers with a 400W amp and my head unit puts out 100w per channel. These are well powered and take the power pretty well. I haven't blown any yet, but may...you never know. Even if I blow one, these are worth every penny. Paying $300-500 for a pair of speakers is unnecessary unless you make money with music. Buy these, make sure they're powered well, and you will not regret unless you're coming ... MoreLet's be real, for $79 or $99, these are cheap speakers. These are ideal for replacing stock speakers using the stock head unit. Much more efficient. Nice highs and good mids. Bass is tight but not terribly low. Easy installation, but I recommend Dynamat or some sort of damping material. I use these with a Kicker Hideaway powered sub in my 2017 F150. Perfect combination and easy to dial in the right crossover and bass level. These speakers really aren't made for big systems with powerful amps. Kicker has other speakers better suited for that. They are for factory speaker replacement with a stock head unit, and are a big improvement for not a lot of cash. I am very pleased with them and would not hesitate to buy them again.
My stock Bose speakers went out on my Chevy Tahoe. I didn’t want to pay too much for my speakers as I am planning on selling my car in a couple years.I picked these with the help of the B.B. rep in store. He mentioned the tweeters in these would be ideal for that extra kick. For my car, I already had stand-alone tweeters that were fine and working. I still never heard much of a difference.Maybe it’s because I was spoiled with the quality of Bose speakers from the factory model for ~10 years but I still feel like these are about 2-3 steps down in the quality and I do not have an amp or sub hooked up in my car.Decent speakers for a quick fix but if you want to really feel your music, maybe go with something about $75-$120 more; it’ll be worth it.
I was in the market for a set of speakers to replace the factory/oem rear speakers..Right before purchasing the Kicker 44ksc series, I tried out an open item containing the Kicker csc series 6.75inch speakers.. They sounded semi basic, just like every other speaker, even a week after I hooked em both up to an amp..So I went ahead and returned the kicker 6.75in csc series.. Seen these and decided to spend just a little bit more money on them .. & WOW!! Loll.. I was fricken AMAZED!!!!I haven't ever heard such a high quality, a bold & finely tuned clarity, and a deep & distinct harmonic crispness altogether, in just one single speaker. With that, these are not speakers that you want to wire straight into the headunit.. Its pushing 75w rms x4 channels & just at 3/4 their power, they'll blow you away!!
I have a 2010 Corolla and thought that any upgrade to the front speakers would involve replacing the small component speakers near the side mirrors. This is not the case. Thanks to my knowledgeable Best Buy installer, Ryan, I learned that with these speakers installed I could just keep the old component speakers too. And, they all work! Not only is this great because of the savings on the install, but now I have a much better high frequency response in the front. Keeping the speakers hidden was important to me as well, and a component upgrade would have been pretty obvious. This may not be the proper crossover technique, but I am really happy with the sound at such a small price.
