By far the best Kiehl's face mask I've had the pleasure of trying so far. After cleansing I leave this on for about 10 minutes, and then remove with warm water and a wash cloth. Granted the Cranberry seeds in this don't do much for exfoliating (I use a separate scrub for that) and are a bit of a nuisance to remove, but when the results are mattified clearer skin, smaller pores and a nice glow, its a small trade off. I use this just twice a week as I find it can be drying when used any more than that. A good clay mask that has the bonus of not needing to be timed, well at least not in my case, as my skin starts to tingle and I realize that means its time to take it off! I expected a strong scent to this but surprisingly it didn’t, it’s more of a herbal scent. Don’t love, but it’s not bad or overpowering. It’s spreads easily across my face and dries down after about 10-15 minutes. The mask doesn’t make my face feel tight or dry while wearing. Before rinsing I gently massage the mask around exfoliating my skin with the seeds. I am not sure how much exfoliating is actually happening when massaging as the seeds feel mild and really gentle. After rinsing my skin is visibly brighter, soft, and more smooth. I would recommend for all skin types and would use once or twice a week. Best physical exfoliating mask I have ever used!! Pricey though.

This mask is energising and brightening, and works great as a physical exfoliator! If you have more sensitive skin, I recommend chemical exfoliators instead (There is lots of research out there to find the one right for you). Otherwise, this mask always leaves my skin feeling refreshed and is great at stopping early pimples before they get bigger. Product lasts a long time, although the container could be more hygienic. A bit pricey, but again you get a lot. Highly recommend, if you are not on a budget!

Brightens, exfoliates & leaves you feeling clean!

I absolutely love this mask! I've always used clay masks but found this one to be a bit more effective. There are little seeds which you can use to exfoliate when removing the mask. It also contains turmeric so I love the brightening effect it leaves. If you have sensitive skin, I would say to test a small patch prior to applying it on your entire face. There is a little tingly/ mild burning sensation but once it sets, it goes away. It also leaves the face a bit dry so I would suggest incorporating this into your night time routine so you could apply heavier moisturizers/ serums :)

Do not walk, run to get this masque!!

I wasn’t sure what I was expecting with this mask but WOW. I used it tonight and I am so taken back at how amazing my skin looked and felt afterwards. It tightened and brightened my skin without drying it out. And I’m when I tell you I have never felt my face softer, I mean it. I have a lot of Kiehl’s products I love but this is top 3! It did come with a broken lid, but I had an old one from an avocado mask that was almost out so I just replaced it with that one.

Good mask

I received this as a sample and I was excited to try it, due to the hype this product had when it first came out. It is a great colour and my skin was noticeably brighter after using. It also provides a good opportunity for self-care and to take yourself out of the day for a moment. I think the turmeric is particularly effective as an active ingredient and I would say overall this is a potent product and perhaps not so good for those with sensitive skin. When on offer, I would buy this.

Ok product. Would not purchase again

One jar lasted me 7 months. I used it once a week and once every other week. It did leave my skin appearing healthier by providing radiance after each use, but it didn't improve any issues over time. My main con was the cranberry seeds. They would stick to my skin and were very hard to wash off. This is the main reason I won't be repurchasing.

Thick and high quality.

The mask is thick and of a high quality. The (natural) exfoliant particles in there I’m not sure I understand their point in the product. As the mask dries, they stick on and are harder to get off and they don’t do much for the mask or to even exfoliate much. The smell is nice and you can see the turmeric in the mask. I have yet to see any noticeable improvement in my skin from it, but it does make my face and even my hands softer when washing it off. The mask texture feels like a good quality and unlike other masks I’ve used so I continue to use it. But yeah, I have not noticed much of a difference yet.
