Kiehl's - Ultra Facial Cleanser - 150ml

I ended up liking this better than , which I didn't expect. The ingredients in that one interested me more, but in terms of actual daily use, I found this one more effective. That said, there are other cleansers I still like a lot better, for example Tatcha and AmorePacific. I know those are more expensive than this, but this one also isn't super cheap and I'd rather get better results. The gel-like texture for this cleanser felt too thick for me. For cleanser gels, I prefer ones like Youth to the People Superfood, not ones that feel like they're so thick it requires vigorous application in order to get a good lather from it. I received this cleanser alongside a few other products as part of a gift set that I received for free from Bzzagent. The rating is the fact that it is a good quality product. The quality is not the problem here-the problem lies in how it reacts with my skin.  Since I have a more combo to oily complexion, it doesn’t do anything to fight my pimples or breakouts. This cleanser would be perfect for complexions that are more dry than mine. I would not advise this for oily to combo complexions in general. This would likely be better for normal complexions, especially on the drier side, and where acne isn’t an issue.

Best Basic Cleanser

I am super picky when it comes to cleansers and I have tested them all. This was simple and perfect. It doesn't really smell, I love the texture - more like a cream, and it's good for my sensitive dry skin. It never burns my eyes and it does not dry me out. It also gets all my makeup off and can be used as my second step when I double cleanse. I realized I quickly finished up a bottle and despite going to test another cleanser, I immediately bought a second and bigger one of this one! Sold.

Clean well

The product is ok as this is my second bottle. This is most favourite cleanser and very suitable for dry skin.However, the cons is, the bottle need improvement. It spill more than you've ever thought. Plus, it's not a travel-friendly. My cleanser spill almost half of the bottle and wasted just like that. So disappointing! I thought it got improve from the first bottle. The second bottle also have the same issue. So sad. I'll stop buying until they come out with new packaging.Overall it's a good product!

Great every day cleanser

This cleanser works brilliantly as an every day solution, the price is also very attractive for the quantity. I'm absolutely thrilled with the results! Great for removing mineral sunscreens

I purchased this cleanser specifically hoping it would help remove mineral-based sunscreens. My existing products failed to remove these sun blocks which use zinc and titanium. These are much more difficult to remove than chemical based sunscreens.This product works fantastically for that purpose. It did in one use what my products, which cost significant more, couldn’t remove in multiple uses. Also, my skin felt soft and clean after, not dry at all. I’ll be switching to this product going forward.

I think this is the product that finally cleared my skin

I bought this over a month ago and suddenly my skin has turned around and not having a new pimple every other day. My face feels clean and fresh after use and ready for the next steps of the skin care routine of which mine is only moisturiser. For a simple routine this works perfectly as an evening cleanser that, as it says, does not strip moisture from your skin but still feels like you are getting a good clean in. I have oily combo skin and it works well for me! I will mention tho I don’t were makeup and it is usually only clearing away sunscreen, mascara and eyebrows but it does clear those well! Not sure how it works for fuller face makeup :)

Keep coming back

I love this cleanser because my skin does not feel tight afterwards and there is no fragrance. Sometimes I have veered to other cleansers or oil cleaners (too liquidy) but am back to this and never leaving again. There is no fragrance and it removes makeup and my soap & water mascara (which oil cleansers cannot remove sufficiently). As for people who have breakouts or allergies, I cannot comment on that, I don't have those issues. I have tried other Keihl's products through holiday boxes and am unimpressed. They don't seem to be moisturizing enough for my skin.

Product is great, but buy it somewhere else

This cleanser is a go-to staple in my skincare regimen. My issue isn’t with the product itself but with Kiehls business practice… Kiehl’s advertised a flash sale with select products at 30% off, so I bought 2 to stock up. When the product arrived, the containers were dirty (not the shipping boxes but the actual product tube) and had stickers adhered all over them like they had been given to a different company for use - ie a different bar code was adhered, a “Compliments of Kiehl’s” sticker, etc. I thought I was simply buying product on sale, not buying old product that Kiehls was trying to move from a prior promotion / campaign. I won’t stop using this product but I will certainly never purchase from Kiehls again.
