I have used a few glycolic acid serums over the years, but I've never felt like they've done much for me. However, I am now officially a believer in glycolic acid - but so far only this brand. It is a thick formula so it is coats my face well and makes it feel like it is really doing what it needs to be doing. After a bit of use, I feel like the texture of my skin has evened out and become much, much softer. It has helped my cheeks and forehead most of all. Also it is strong, but not so much so that it dries me out too much. It is very gently but effective. Granted I have only used it every other day for about a week, but with this much improvement already I predict even greater results.

I really enjoyed trying this product out! I saw and felt my skin clear up and even out in tone and texture. The first results were seen a few days after I started using this product. Glycolic acid is such a great active to help even out texture and skin tone. I use the glycolic acid serum in the morning as in the night I use Tretinoin and wouldn't mix the two active ingredients (could cause irritation, allergic reaction, just overall opposite on what you are trying to achieve). One syringe pull is enough for my whole face. It does have the initial slight sting of an acid when you apply it but as it absorbs and dries down it goes away. I would apply this first after washing face and letting it dry after and before applying anything else on top.

Does this company make a bad product, like seriously?I've tried a good amount of products from their line, and each has really impressed me. The Kiehl's Ultra-Pure High Potency Glycolic Acid is no exception. I have somewhat sensitive skin, so I have to be very measured when using this product, but WHEW, the RESULTS.My texture is virtually gone. As someone who has struggled with her skin now into her 30s, having a product where I can SEE the results, and FAST, is worth its weight in gold. I will continue to implement this product as part of my night-time skincare routine, and will repurchase when the bottle runs out. Bravo, Kiehls.

I have not used many serums, but I definitely will keep using this one after the results I've been getting! First of all, I really appreciate that this product is vegan and that its packaging is sustainable. But besides that, this serum is easy to use & fit right into my skincare routine. I used it at night because it says that it can make your skin photosensitive. I apply a few drops as directed and smooth it all over my face, and it truly does make you glow. It does make my face tingly but it's not awful. I can't say that it "minimizes" my pores but that's okay because pore size isn't an issue for me. Overall I would definitely recommend this serum.
First off, the packaging is cute and kind of vintage-y :) It is a glass bottle, which I also appreciate! I've only been using this product for about 4 days, but it feels very cool and soothing when it goes on the skin. I used it once before bed, and I woke up with extra oily skin. Not sure if it's related, but I have been using it in the mornings instead and it's been much better. My skin feels moisturized, but not sticky or oily. The smell is very herbal or floral. I can't quite figure it out. It isn't my favorite scent, but not a huge deal to me. I am interested to see how my skin looks and feels after a few weeks of use.
I really liked the look of this serum-it struck me as a product that had a high potency and was effective. It did not feel gimmicky and had a very clear and cohesive packaging.I found the scent to be appealing, it was not too strong or too overpowering so it did not bother me.I felt that the product applied smoothly; I put it on under a face moisturizer and SPF and it layered well.In terms of its effectiveness-I was not able to evaluate the product long enough to give an accurate report. I felt that it would work based on the ingredients, but I did not notice an immediate difference. For this reason I am giving it only 4 stars. I will definitely update this review if I notice more significant improvement over time.
I truly had no doubts that I would like this product. I have been using the ultra facial overnight rehydration mask for about 6 months now. I absolutely love it and just have not found any other product that compares. When the opportunity arose for me to try the glycolic acid I was so excited to add it to my routine. A little goes a long way, no terrible smell, not sticky and dries quickly. I have combination skin and most serums tend to dry out my t-zone and corners of my nose. This product did not do that! My skin is much smoother and appears brighter even after 1 week of use. I am an absolute believer in this brand's products. Definitely give them a try!
I have tried a couple of products from Kiehl's and have always been impressed - they clearly produce high quality products. I have used this serum every night for a couple of weeks and I haven't seen a noticeable difference in the texture of my skin, but I am going to keep using it to see if it just needs more time. I tend to have sensitive skin but this serum does not cause me to have any breakouts or dryness like what I've experienced with other serums I've tried. I appreciate that it truly has no scent whatsoever. I also love how light it is - it isn't sticky at all like most other serums I've used. A little bit goes a long way, so the bottle will last you longer than you might think.
This Kiehl's Ultra Pure High-Potency Serum 9.8%Glycolic Acid is okay for my skin type (combination, hyperpigmentation, and sensitive skin). I have been applying this product twice a week followed by a moisturizer. The texture of the product feels smooth and soaks right into the skin making my face feel supple. I love that the product has only 7 ingredients. However, in the few weeks I've been using this product I have not seen any noticeable differences in my hyperpigmentation scars. Additionally, this product leaves a burning sensation if there are any micro cuts or fresh pimples.
My skin is loving this! I have used it for 7 days now, I used it 2 days in a row then every other day. When applying the product it's a little spicy on the skin. A very small tingle (I personally love the spice) but the proof is in the pudding, on Saturday I wore makeup and my skin was perfect! My pores are smaller, my skin is over all smoother and brighter. I had some ance discoloration on my chin and it's gone. I'm seriously impressed and will continue to use this as a staple! After applying the serum I would use kielhs midnight recovery serum to keep my skin nice and hydrated. They were a beautiful combination
