Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve - 75ml

I noticed my hands getting drier and drier with the continued use of hand sanitizers/gels, and so thought I'd look for a new hand moisturizer to balance out the dryness and re-hydrate my skin. I read some positive reviews of this one and after having good results with Kiehl’s facial cream in the past, I decided to purchase this. It's been a god-send for my hands, and really does the trick. Love the Eucalyptus scent! It’s so refreshing. The consistency is a bit thicker than a typical moisturizer as it’s a salve (combination of oil and beeswax) which means it’s preserved much longer. I can’t leave the house without this hand cream; it’s truly the gold standard of hand creams. Kiehl’s never misses with their moisturizer formulas and this is no exception. This sinks into my skin almost instantly and doesn’t leave any greasy film. It’s super nourishing and the effect lasts beyond a couple hand washes. I wish I had a before picture from before I had this cream. My nails, cuticles, and skin were just tragic. Now they look like they could be on an ad.

An oldie but a goodie

This does exactly what it says on the tin. Forget the fancy heavily fragranced cosmetic hand creams if you suffer from dry, chapped skin in winter. I’ve tried many and they just don’t do the job of moisturising and providing a barrier. This hand salve does both par excellence. It’s not greasy either. I find it a godsend this time of the year. As the temperature plummet, my hands become very dry and chapped. This sorts it out quickly and effectively. My hands are now back to normal. I carry a tube everywhere and regularly apply after hand washing as a preventative measure. It’s very reasonably priced especially if you buy the full size tube. It’s an oldie, but a goodie. I like Kiehl’s. No fuss, fanfare, fancy packaging or big claims. Their products just work.

Exceptional hand cream

The best handcream ! Suffer from extremely dry, painful & cracked hands in winter together with eczema. This is the 1st handcream I have tried that actually soothes and moisturisers without leaving a residue. Hands just soak up the cream giving instant relief & hydration. Use on cuticles too. It's great to find a product that actually works and lasts. Not much needed for each application. Well worth the money. Have now converted 3 friends to this cream as it's soooo good !!!

Game changer!

I'm 35 years old and I've struggled terribly with dry, cracking, painful hands every winter for as long as I can remember. My 5-year-old daughter is now struggling the same, and this product has been a total game changer for both of us. Our hands are now soft and smooth which is something I've never been able to achieve in winter time. At first I was a little apprehensive about spending so much money on hand lotion, but it is 100% worth every penny. This product is far and away the most effective hand lotion I've ever owned! My single criticism is that it could stand to smell better. It reminds me of the smell of a plastic doll.

I recently tried Kiehls and I'm thrilled with the results. The cream's luxurious texture absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue. The subtle, pleasant scent adds a delightful touch. Kiehls ultimate hand salve.

I love the Kiel’s ultimate strength hand salve ! For many years I have had problems with dry chapped and little cuts on my hands. Especially in winter. Since I started using the Kiehls my hands are greatly improved. I took a point off for the packaging though. When I couldn’t squeeze another drop from the tube I cut it in half to get the rest out. To my surprise it filled a 2 ounce travel container. Too much expensive product to waste if I didn’t do that.

Product’s great! Company SUCKS!!!

I really love this hand cream but I really HATE this company! I wanted to love them but customer service is really important to me and their “Kiehl’s Promise” is a joke! They are the George Costanzas of companies! Who cheats someone on their freaking birthday gift? You’ll only get your samples half the time when you’re supposed to get them with every purchase, not that I really care about the samples but still. I like that they’re clean beauty products and not tested on animals but Dermalogica has all that too and they don’t cheat me on discounts. My advice—buy in store. That way, you at least can make sure you get everything. Otherwise, they are officially a hard pass for me now. And it’s hard to make me not buy products I actually like. sticky residue

I bought two tubes of this hand salve thinking it was a different brand of hand cream i tried in Sephora a year ago. I purchased online then went in the store to pick it up. I tried a sample in the store and decided I didn't like the sticky residue so i returned my in store pick up right away. Weeks passed, no credit back onto my card. The cashier told me i would receive an email from Kiehls so I didn't have a hard copy to prove a return. Had I not followed up with my bank statement (which I rarely do) I would not have realized that the refund for TWO tubes of this had not been returned. I called the store in Somerset, Troy MI and they seemed like they couldn't care less.
