I was sent this product to test and review and from reading the product description I wasn't convinced that the product was right for my skin or my age (40+). I've never tried using a facial barrier balm stick before on my face but I am so glad I did . This stick is quite frankly amazing. I do however recommend only using this every other day. Depending on how your skin is maybe even once every two days. But not every day even if your skin is super dry like mine. My skin tends to lead toward dry as heck Especially in the winter time when that cold hard air hits my face daily my skin gets super chapped and red and I hate it. I used this stick and I was blown away at the results I got from it. It soaked up in my skin and for once my skin wasn't Ted or dry or hurting . It's so easy to apply being an a balm stick and j love I can take it anywhere with me . As a middle-aged woman of color, finding the perfect moisturizer is a game changer! I received this product to test and write a review and I am thoroughly pleased with this formulation! The packaging is convenient to keep the stick in my purse. The product goes on amazingly cool and smooth with a luxurious texture. It melted into my skin with zero greasy residue. There was no unwanted shine and my pores never felt clogged! I felt instant relief from the application due to dealing with some skin sensitivities as my hormones were fluctuating when I received the product. I was concerned about crepey neck skin but using this product eliminates those concerns!This will be a staple in my skin-care regimen.

As I mentioned before, it's too bulky to carry around without a purse so I left this moisturizer in the car while I went after Christmas day shopping and it melted slightly, being left in the car after three hours. Then the melted part leaked out everywhere. I applied some of the melted part onto my face, laughing at myself as I type this, before wiping it off my hands and I felt that the melted cream soaked in much easier on my face then when it's on the stick itself. I'd like to note that if you're a daily makeup wearer, this product isn't for you as you won't be able to reapply it over your makeup.
