The twist caps are way better than the locally made ones and in the long run the ease of use adds up. The locally made ones the ones with the golden caps which inbought from here itself require some effort. This kilner one is like butter in unscrewing and screwing back on. I will simply have to junk the local ones I got and switch to all kilner in the long run. A bigger size though cos this size is just about enough for very small quantities or if you grind your own spices regularly. Kilner jars Ive found are way better than pasabache also and the Rocco ones simple for the way the lid works.

Perfect size for small batches of jam, curd and chutney, and perfect style for a smart-looking gift of home-made goodies. My only (minor) grouch is that I can't find a jam funnel with a narrow enough neck.

This is brilliant. So much easier that other mops I have. Love the price too x
The size and shape was perfect for what I needed it for. The jar was made of sturdy and thick glass. However, opening and closing the lid was a difficult pain. The clamp is stiff, takes a lot of force to pry open or close, and always snaps your hand when attempting to open the lid. If you plan on never opening or closing the jar then its perfect. Its a shame really, because its really quite pretty.
As soon as I saw these in the store I had to have one So glad I got one makes cleaning g a breeze. Bargain price too thank you Aldi
