Fun toy for children to make endless sandcastles. Down side it can get everywhere is why I took a star away. It never drys out and last years. We buy it every time there is a new product. Perfect learning toy for finger strength exercises. 

If you have a little one, or you're a lil one at heart, kinetic sand is perfect! It's 98% sand and 2% magic 🪄 I bought for my 4 year old and he absolutely loves it! You can mold it, shape it, do just about anything you can do with playdough, but without it drying out. And when they mix all the colors together (you know they will), it doesn't turn into a poop brown color. Best sensory based play

This is a favorite in our house. My 3 year old will make towers, use play dough cut outs in it, drive cars in it, push his sticks in it, etc. As an occupational therapist, I love that it is providing a sensory rich experience as well as strengthening little hands when rolling and squeezing it. Also such an easy clean up as it sticks to itself but nothing else. 10/10 recommend .

Fun “Quarantine” Activity

Overall, a fun thing to have in your back pocket on a rainy day in 2020 lock down. The price is a bit high for what it is- I think $15 (instead of $20) would be fair. If I hadn’t been in need of crafts and activities pronto I would have waited till it was on sale. I love that it’s reusable and we also repurposed the cute tiny tools for gardening seeds outside in soil (different activity). Tools are smaller than expected, but work well for the amount of sand. The box container is a bit of a pain, I had to use a stapler to reinforce it and the “c” flaps bent soft on first use so the “beach background” flap kept collapsing inwards. I’ll probably use a different container for future play. Love that I can use it indoors with a supervised toddler. Wish it came with a resealable bag for the sand. We ended up using a quart size ziplock bag. Overall good purchase for us.

Great stuff!

This kinetic sand is much better than all the other brands I have used. The color doesn’t fade or bleed off onto hands or other surfaces. It holds together really well for good play. I was very happy with this purchase and bought another box.

Kinetic sand=awesome Walmart=do better

For gifts, Walmart shipping has become a frustration. I don’t want to give smashed gifts. Makes the benefit of the ease of online ordering and delivery a nonissue. Your stuff comes smashed and gross or used looking. Kinetic sand: awesome job. Walmart: do better.

My sons favorite toy

My 4 year old loves this kind. He has been playing with it since he was about 2. It started out as a hit from day one and there is not a day that goes by that he doesnt play with it. It does get really sticky if not covered durring times of high humidity and because he uses it so often i have had to replace multiple times because ewww i can just imagibe what is in it but it is so worth it! I actually started buying several bags and filling the bottom of an under the bed container so he can use it as an indoor sandbox with his trucks and construction sets. Very easy cleanup.... can even pick up off floor with ease. Love the beach sand like texture which you only get from this type... the colors feel more like weird powder and flake a bit. Not kid friendly

I was disappointed in this item. The cardboard was cheap and didn’t stay in place. The sand was hard which made it difficult to play with. My kids didn’t like it at all. I should of returned it.

So much fun for toddlers - adults!

This is the BEACH SAND so it’s grittier than other kinetic sand types (as it should be but some aren’t aware it’s different) but it holds shape wonderfully and is so much fun for my toddler and me to play with. He will play for hours of the day with this if we let him. We love the tools! They’re fun to build with, release the form easily, and seem very sturdy. Would definitely purchase again to add to our set.
