A good fast highish capacity ssd for quite a cheap price, would reccomend.Comes with a free subscription to some acronis features.If youre trying to upgrade to this ssd or something ur gonna need a cloning software like acronis that comes with this, altho this didn't work for me, I used Macrium (free 30 day trial) to clone instead.

Likely incredible for PCs and laptops.Kingston is a solid brand, for tech components and memory storage. I've used them on and off for SD cards and they do last the distance.For PS5: It does have a heat spreader on the memory, but I figured an actual heatsink would still be a safer bet. In my case I got a Jeyi M.2 Heatsink and only placed the two thermal strips on the SSD. No need for the copper strip (since it already has one installed). When installing, you do have to be careful as Sony has made it a little tricky for SSD installs. My PS5 measured the read/write speeds at 6.5k MB/s (Well above the requirements).

Managed to get this on an awesome deal with the Black Friday sale. I just installed it now after a quick Youtube tutorial and works great. I did pair it with the Be Quiet MC1 heatsink. Managed to get around 6,500MB/s read speeds on the PS5. Definitely happy with my purchase.

Same hardware/firmware as Kingston's Fury Renegade line of gen 4 m.2 SSDs. Excellently priced SSD that is within the recommended specs for PS5 M.2 storage. Comes with an integrated heatspreader, so you shouldn't need to worry about an additional heatsink. Priced below competitors like the 980 pro, or SN850 and still comes with a decently long manufacturers warranty.

Much faster than the stock M.2, NVMe 256GB drive that came with it (about 4 times) and up to 10 times faster than M.2 SATA. Buying direct from Kingston was as cheap as Anywhere!
Extremally happy with purchase. This was even a little cheaper than another brand and a little faster. Due to my laptops size I did add another brand heat sink just to be safe, but I was glad I found this from some other online reviews. This went in a MSI GL76.
I'm using this drive in a Gigabyte z390 motherboard, therefore, I'm getting PCIe 3.0 speed. I needed more space on my system drive and decided to get this PCIe 4.0 m.2 SSD, as I will eventually upgrade to a PCIe 4.0 motherboard, so it made sense to buy this drive. It was very easy to clone my old (windows 11 system drive) PCIe 3.0 nvme 512GB m.2 to the new PCIe 4.0 nvme 1TB m.2 drive using AOMEI partition assistant, which went very smoothly and quickly. AOMEI has various tutorials on how to clone your drive to another if you are unsure how to do this correctly. With a 5 year warranty, this drive as well as being really fast represents good value for money too I'm looking forward to getting the full speed when I upgrade my motherboard and processor.
Super fast drive best in class. I have 3 2Tb drives and they are all equally fast. Transfers are super fast and now I have most of my Steam library on my PC ready to launch. I replaced my old Samsung 980 (put it in the PS5) and these were just a bit quicker. Kingston delivered them within a few days of my order when I ordered them on a Tuesday they came in that following Friday and were used in a brand new build. Look up reviews on these and you will see they are top of the heap in the price range.
Samsung? No, THIS. Both are tier memory manufacturers, but Kingston get something done right for the pricepoint opposed to the 9XX series SSDs. If you're looking for a SSD for a new build, or for your console; this will not disappoint in speed or quality for the price point.
This thing exceeded my expectations by quite a long chalk. it is using the Phison E18 controller and has no AES Encryption which proves out a theory I have long held on that aspect impacting performance. This thing is much more efficient than the WD Black 1 TB SSD as well.
