I have quite a few Kitchen Aid products in my kitchen to use. So decision to get 2 kettles for my relative and myself in instalments was made straight away after watching QVCUK demo. Love the look, quality and feel of this stylish kettle but it makes the MOST annoying and loud ding every time you switch the kettle on or off. I contacted Kitchenaid about this to see if there's anything I can do to turn it off but the answer was no. They claim it is a safety feature but I disagree that one is required for a kettle. If they insist on continuing with the ding at least make it quieter. I am not alone in my complaint. I went on-line to see if there was anything I could do but there is nothing to be done without voiding the warranty (and getting the soldering iron out). Many people have the same issue as I do.

This is my first KitchenAid purchase and I'm delighted with it. I had my heart set on a clear glass kettle from another brand but it was such a disappointment. So, I exhanged it for this lovely almond cream kettle which I love. It looks stylish in my open plan kitchen and the feel in the hand is high quality. It is quiet and fast to the boil which is great. It has a lovely light on the base and a soft ping sound when you turn it on and the water is boiled. I look forward to using it each morning. I'm pleased that an initial disappointing purchase made me consider and try this new brand. I really do love my new kettle!

Kettle is slick. Boils temperature quickly and relatively quiet. The temperature feature is very handy and a much nicer looking kettle than competitors on the market, like the Breville. Pours really well.Main complaint is that the lid doesnāt fully open / able to be taken off and so itās sometimes a bit tricky getting water in there depending on your tap. In the scheme of things, pretty minor complaint, but test it out before you buy to make sure it works for you. My wife finds the ādingā once it has boiled a bit annoying (like an aeroplane reminder to buckle in your seatbelt), but I quite like it!

Would be much nicer to purchase it without a sticker being on it, even one that does peel off easily still leaves marks to clean.I would recommend this product and purchase it again. I would also consider a smaller version of this kettle if ever on the market as I donāt often boil it to its full capacity.

My main and primary concern for future buyers is the hot exterior. This kettle would also be good for someone who is the occasional user and not a daily user or connoisseur, as (like me) the user could be more prone to want more features. My last and final bone to pick with the kettle is how short the plug-in cord is. Iād love to see this be made with a longer cord or a retractable cord. Overall, it does seem like a good investment if it fits your needs after considering the pros and cons. This one might become my office kettle at work and Iāll leave the Beautiful kettle at home. š”
Never looked back since replacing my old tired worn out kettle with KitchenAidās 1.7L variable temperature kettle in Empire Red. It is a smart kitchen accessory where you can control the temperature of your water. It boils fast and has a delightful ping sound when switched on and off so useful if you are not near that itās ready. Light to pick up and refill regardless of the size of your sink and fits easily back into its cradle no need for a couple of attempts. Classic design with a contemporary look. Well worth the investment
