I looked long and hard for a hand mixer that was quiet and had a super slow start yet was powerful. I have a Kitchen Aid stand mixer, but I often need a hand mixer for smaller jobs as my stand mixer is so large. Before this, I had a cheap hand mixer that was incredibly loud and splattered and slung whatever I was mixing everywhere. I am often making things while others are sleeping, so I needed quiet. Difficult to use speed control arrowd

I bought this hand held mixer to replace a (broken within a year of light use) long time brand my grandmothers used. The off and on button seems to be opposite of intuitive use. The arrows that control speed are not responsive like a dial control. My biggest compliment will come if the mixer does not need to be replaced within the year bought; not there yet. Used 4 times in 2 months.New generations will never believe you could buy something that worked a lifetime! Throw it away and get a new one because manufacturers only carry a one year warranty unless you buy an extended warranty. The price point is high enough without buying a warranty. Companies need to support their products!!!

This hand mixer from KitchenAid is so Superior to all other hand mixers. I love that it is nine speeds and I also really like the variety of attachments. With this hand mixer you can virtually do anything. I love the dough hooks for making bread or my pizza dough and also to shred up meat when I cook it for pulled pork sandwiches. The whisk is great for doing whipped cream or whipping up eggs for scrambled eggs in the morning. I love that the beaters do not have a center bar so it makes them so much easier to clean and then the added attachment of the round disc mixer is so great for making your own homemade salad dressings or whipping up different kinds of sauces. It comes with a variety of single or double, stainless-steel whisks designed for liquids, to doughs and items in between.The speed is digitally controlled so it always starts the mixer on the lowest setting. This solves a problem with my older hand mixer where it could be left on a high setting and it just splashes still mixtures out of the bowl.The flexibility of a hand mixer is great, you can mix in almost any container. The underside of the grip is rubberized and comfortable to hold. The balance is great and allows you to move the whisks where you want.

Great hand mixer!

I received this on purpose to try. It replaced my very ancient hand mixer I inherited. This one works great! Sleek glossy black color so it will match any kitchen. Love that it has 9 speeds for whatever your needs may be and the extra attachments are cool. Can use one as a frother for coffees and other liquids, one for dough such as making bread which was so exciting! Regular beatersand a whisk option. Also came with a cute little bag to hold all the accesories. They all fit lovely inside too. Wasn't loud and very easy to attache and unattached the different options.

Great option

I have a kitchen aid stand mixer and I love it. However sometimes I just need to whip something really fast or make something really quickly and I don’t need all of the power of the stand mixer. This is the perfect option. It has a whisk as well as regular beaters. It even has dough hooks and an attachment for drinks and shakes. If I just need to whip something really fast or make something really quickly and I don’t need all of the power of the stand mixer this is the perfect option. It’s very compact. And it comes with a handy little caring case. I also love the little notch on the cord that allows you to wind up the cord and tie it away neatly.

High speed hand mixer indeed

This is a nice hand mixer. It’s sleek, modern and elegant looking. It has the same look as my KitchenAid stand mixer. It’s got that authentic KitchenAid brand look which I like.It’s high speed. I think I may only use it to maybe speed 3 on a regular basis but it’s good to know I can use it at the super fast speed 9. I did try all the different levels and It works well.I like the slim down beaters and all the attachments it’s comes with plus a bag to store them all in. I also like the electric cord as a built on wrap strap. It’s the little touches that makes a product great. This one was made with thought.It’s quieter that my old hand mixer even at speed 9 but it does make some noise. Overall I am happy with it so far.

Not really worth it

I had a cheaper hand mixer for 12 years and it quit working. I replaced it with a KitchenAid one because I have a stand mixer I’ve had for the same amount of time with no issues. I used the hand mixer about 5-6 times in less than 18 months. It stopped working. I contacted KitchenAid vía the support site request and 3 weeks later received a response to call their customer support.I had purchased the mixer 9/9/21 and had called on 12/27/22. I had waited 25 minutes to get a representative.When I spoke with the representative they told me that the warranty is only good for 1.5 years and I was past the warranty. I explained that it had only been 15 months and 1.5 years is 18 months to which she argued I was wrong and there are only 16 months in a year and a half. So Handy

The nine speed hand mixer that I just bought is actually a Christmas gift for my son's girlfriend. Her current hand mixer has only two speeds, off, and maximum high! I got it for her because I have had one for years, and it's still working really well. I got that one, because my parents had one that I used and liked when I still lived at home. I am 61 years old, so you see that these mixers withstand the test of time. It's so nice to have all of the speeds to choose from, and it handles everything except for the heaviest bread or cookie doughs, for which I would have to pull out the Kitchenaid stand mixer! The quality, durability, and ease of use are top rate, and I would recommend Kitchenaid products highly, which I would not do with many appliance brands these days!
