KitchenAid Hand Mixer 9 Speed almond Cream

As much as I love getting my workout done, I must say I prefer the convenience and speed of this hand mixer. I purchased this along with a few other small kitchen appliances from KitchenAid. I appreciate the durability and quality that the brand offers. Although this is smaller than other appliances, it is powerful. Making the perfect cookies takes no time. Elevating mashed potatoes with a large chunk of cream cheese and whipped it together… perfect! The mixer not only comes with the standard beaters, dough hooks and the whisk, it also has a puree attachment and a nice fabric bag to store them in. Each type of attachment has its own sewn in pockets perfectly sized so nothing gets lost. Removing the attachments is as easy as one button so you can do it one handed but it’s firm enough to make sure you don’t accidentally eject the whisk while moving at high speed. The cord is nice and durable with an attached rubber band/strap for easy fold up and storage. Overall I highly recommend this purchase since it saved so much time and energy. I’ll definitely be a loyal customer of KitchenAid for years to come.

I doubted that anything could replace my old Farberware mixer I've had for over 20 years, but I'm really pleased with my new 9-speed mixer. It is truly a workhorse for mixing thicker doughs, like cookies, with no motor speed loss, which I love. I like the thin wire beaters, which are good for whipping, though I found that the narrow tops tend to cause the dough to creep upward, which I haven't found a solution for yet. I like the movable cord, which also makes it easy to set it down during mixing without causing tipping of the unit. It seems slightly heavier than my old mixer, but it's worth it for the powerful motor and ease of working through any recipe I've tried. Does Everything a Hand Mixer Should Do

I have long depended on my Kitchen Aid stand mixer for big projects and at some point, I decided someday to upgrade my hand mixer to Kitchen Aid. When this one became available as a TSV, I ordered it. I certainly use it more frequently than I ever reached for my aged hand mixer. I use it at the stove for whipping potatoes. I whip cream and egg whites. I still use my stand mixer when making large amounts of cookie doughs, but I grab this little guy when I mix icing for those cookies.I normally try to include both pros and cons in a review. After watching several videos, I decided to buy this Professional KA hand mixer in CA red. I have been very happy with it and the quality that I’ve enjoyed with my KA stand mixer for decades. This hand mixer matches my KA candy apple red mixer beautifully. This hand mixer has the ability to start slowly and avoid splashing but has good power when turned up higher. I used it to mix a double recipe of powdered sugar frosting for a scratch Italian Creme Cake. I have the 9-speed. It labored while mixing all the ingredients, and the mixer itself "could have been" more powerful, trying to blend the powdered sugar, cream cheese, butter, and milk. But........it did the job, even tho it really did labor and whine trying to blend it all. I'm happy. Think I'll stick with mashed potatoes, as the ultimate "thick" food to blend. The mixer needs more power, not more speeds. I've worked with maintenance men long enough to know what machine can do the job with enough power, what machine labors under "doing the job, but with not enough power", and what machine definitely needs power to do the job. It really is a kitchen aid

I’ve used this a handful of times and so far I’m very impressed. It has one more tool than my last mixer (which I’ve yet to use) and they have their own little canvas draw string bag to live in when not in use. This is very handy but for me very accessible for my disability needs. Not too taxing on my joints which points to good ergonomics (though I have not yet gone full speed). Comfortable feel and easy controls. This has helped me make sourdough bred by kneading the dough for me, whisk up wet ingredients with the single whisk and the double whisks I used to make pumpkin & potato mash. It’s made my life so much easier taking the burden instead of my joints. It really is a kitchen aid.

Light weight, easy to use with lots of features

My husband bought the KitchenAid 9-speed Hand mixer for me for Christmas. I have terrible arthritis and I was struggling with my old hand mixer. He looked at a lot of ads & reviews, and thought this would be the best. It is truly the best hand mixer I have ever owned. I can make whipped cream in a few minutes, instead of 10 minutes, and it's so easy to adjust the speed. I can use the whisk on low speed as if I was using the whisk in my hand, it's that gentle. And the weight is good, not too heavy. I love to bake... I have my countertop KichenAid mixer for the big stuff, and this hand held for the little stuff. It's a match made for any baker! My friends and family love it too, because I am baking more now than ever.

The look - beautiful and matches my Kitchenaid stand mixer.Quality - consistent with stand mixer, I can tell the motor and handheld mixer will last a lifetime!Ease of use - very easy to use, the weight is manageable, if it’s too light I’d be afraid with the quality of the motor. Easy to clean as well.It’s a good thing there is a bag to place all the other attachments. However, it would have been great if there was an actual transparent container to place the attachments rather than a fabric bag. But I guess that would have been an extra cost.Overall, I trust kitchenaid’s quality and I’m sure these appliances will serve me well in a very long time.

Nice Hand Mixer

I love this 9 speed mixer. I have a Kitchen Aid 5 speed mixer that I like, but it just doesn’t seem to have the oomphs I needed for heavier batters, dough and egg whites; I don’t have the budget or storage room for a full size mixer, so I upgraded to this 9 speed. I like all the attachments that come with this. I’ve used the beaters for heavy cookie dough (I probably could have switched to the dough hooks, but never thought of it at the time) and the whisk for meringue and both worked well. I haven’t used the immersion blender attachment yet or the dough hooks. The on/off switch and speed adjustment took a little getting used to but it’s easy to maneuver with the thumb while holding the mixer. disappointed

I bought this mixer because I have a KitchenAid stand mixer and I like it very much! The hand mixer is something for my husband to use and for little jobs like mashed potatoes and pudding. I am disappointed in the hand mixer in several ways... The switch to turn it on is awkward and the upping the speed with the arrow button is also awkward and the button is losing its coating. The most disappointing of all is the beaters. They have come apart at the top weld and let loose at the bottom weld on the second beater. I think for all the crowns that KitchenAid have they could have powered the 9 speed mixer a little better. Also there was not a bag included for the attachments included in with my mixer. The worst part is that I can not find replacement beaters for this unit.
