Best purchase in a long time!!!

Wow! Where has this been all my life?! I use it almost daily and is perfect for all those jobs I would previously have thought too small to pull out the full sized food processor. Literally the best purchase I've made in a long time. And love the fact that it is cordless! I wouldn't have considered that to be something I needed - but it is so convenient!

I got this food chopper about three months ago. I have been very happy with this model. The previous model overheated and the more I used it, the more it gave burnt odors, so I reported this issue. I was very pleased with the response. They immediately helped me to report it and send a new replacement. They were extremely helpful, courteous, and professional. I appreciate it when a business treats their customers right. I highly recommend Kitchen Aid products to all my friends.

Does a good job with advantage of being cordless

Very good small footprint so it takes up little room on the back of the worktop. Cordless being a very good feature. A full charge lasts a long time. The chopping is very efficient - almost too efficient as even on the slow speed it can over chop vegetables making ¾ of the goblet content too finely chopped and ¼ of the chunks un-chopped. I was unable to create an even bulk of coarsely chopped swede or parsnip or carrots. It chopped walnuts well and was easy to regulate. I would recommend always washing via Dishwasher as manually it's a bit of a task to get at all the little slots that trap ground up food. The blade is very sharp so again best left to a dishwasher. It's a quiet motor so that is a bonus. The beater attachment worked very well creating white of egg ... MoreVery good small footprint so it takes up little room on the back of the worktop. So the paddle reaches close to the bottom and so you don't get problems with it not reaching a shallow quantity. Considering its limitations it is quite expensive for a liquidizer part grinder but I like the build-quality and so it's good enough in my opinion to get 4 stars out of 5.

High Quality. Powerful. Convenient.

I have had great success with KitchenAid products in the past. This Cordless 5 cup Food Chopper didn’t disappoint. Everything about this little machine, from functionality to aesthetics, is excellent. I have the chopper in the color Shaded Palm-made in partnership with Hearth&Hand with Magnolia. It is so pretty, looks really nice on my counter, and doesn’t take up a ton of space. I love the convenience of having a cordless unit. It’s easy to charge, and the battery has a really good runtime. There is a battery indicator light on the unit that’ll let you know when it’s time to charge/when it’s done charging. Assembly is uncomplicated, everything you need is in the box, and the instructions are clear. This is very user friendly. There are two speeds, fast or slow. The multipurpose blade is stainless steel, sharp and powerful. The blending jar has a 5 cup capacity, and is more than enough for me as I most often cook for two. This has made my time in the kitchen much more pleasant, and productive. It’s cut my prep time down significantly. I am very impressed with this chopper. Definitely recommend.

An excellent piece of product that does just what it says, very pleased with the performance and outstanding quality in getting the ingredients just right how you want them to be as you have full control by using the handle and by constant presses of the button you get your desired result! Above all it’s cordless so no cables to drag or get stuck under the appliance you just sit it where you want and battery life is excellent taking consideration having purchased this for over 2 months now I only charged it the once and still it is going on the same battery! Well done for designing such an outstanding and mostly convenient product. I had my doubts with this appliance as it is small, five cup appliance. But I am surprised with the power behind it. First, I absolutely love the deep green color! This is a cordless chopper but you do need to give it a complete charge first or a “quick charge”. A complete charge will take about two hours and a quick charge takes about ten minutes. While charging, the power light will flash yellow and then turn solid green upon complete charge. The lid was a bit tricky to remove and I struggled with it and I really wish I could remember how I removed it every time. So I wish that was easier to remove. The lid has a drizzle spout which is great for adding your liquid ingredients like olive oil. No need to remove the lid for that! Be careful handling the blade as it is very sharp! Bring dishwasher safe, top rack only, is a huge plus!! Being a five cup chopper this appliance is a space saver for sure. Not another billy appliance in your kitchen counter or struggles to pull it out from under the cabinets!

Love it!

Have been musing on buying one of these mini choppers for ages, so glad I finally did it! It makes chopping anything so much easier. Decided on the cordless version which took just over 2 hours. I used it for about an hour and several days later it still had plenty of charge left in it to go again. Very convenient to be able to move it to wherever you need to use it. Was tempted to go for the smaller bowl version, but pleased I went with this model to get the large sized bowl so whatever I'm chopping has plenty of room to whizz around. Very pleased that the Almond Cream colour is exactly the same shade as my other KitchenAid appliances.

The main reason I bought this was because I saw on their website that you could use it to make bruschetta and pico. I love both of these things but hate having to manually chop everything. It turned my pico into watery salsa even with me just pulsing, but oddly left some big chunks of tomatoes as well. There’s nothing else that I can do on here that I couldn’t already do with my nutribullet. We lost power (Illinois recently had state wide damaging storms) for 6 days and I used this to puree papaya for my infant. A ripe papaya is pretty juicy and soft as is, and it would not blend, as without power I couldn’t use my nutribullet. Ended up mashing with fork. Pretty useless, will probably donate to goodwill.

The cordless chopper is something I never knew I needed. This was especially helpful when I made carrot care and shredded hard carrots altogether, it came out finely chopped and consistent! And because it was cordless, I didn’t fuss over using my KitchenAid mixer and unplugging it. Amazing little machine! It’s also compact and easy to clean and store. Compact but strong, exactly what I need to make my life easier (and save my carpal tunnel wrists!). Thank you heaps KitchenAid!

Omg… I am super obsessed with this new kitchen gadget. It has made my life so much easier and now I can cook in no time and have some extra time for my self. With two different power settings, the KitchenAid Cordless Chopper can also puree. It great for bulk chipping and no more tears to chop onion and garlic. The cordless function is a nice feature that I'm not sure everyone really needs. The LED indicator will be red while it's charging but will turn off when it's full which is really great. Just Twist the lid of the cup to open and closes easily. And in the closed position, press down on the lid nearest the handle to activate the chopper. It is a space saver and time saver too. I am in love with all it’s amazing features and have been using it ever since for all ... MoreOmg… I am super obsessed with this new kitchen gadget.
