The clip at the back slips of very easily. I was making very hot sugar syrup and when I needed to take the thermometer out the clip fell off into my boiling hot sugar… very disappointed

This is a great thermometer. We use it to make jam and it has taken the guesswork out of the setting point. It is good and sturdy and I'm sure we will get a lot of use out of it.

The thermometer is larger than expected but works well, reads clearly & is easy to clean. I’ve had too many broken cooking thermometers over years. This one looks like it’s built to last & I’m hopeful it does.
I bought this from Myer 10 months ago and it wasn't long before the 0 rubbed off from the number 40. Unfortunately, I didn't address the problem at the time because it didn't affect the functionality of the thermometer but by now, other numbers and markings have also come off and Myer are refusing to replace it because of the length of time since I purchased. I have only ever hand washed it and used it according to the intructions.
Does exactly what it says on the package. Really sturdy and well made. Plus, it's quite long which means you're less at risk of burning fingers if you're using it to check hot oil or sugar.
A quality product from a quality brand in a very reasonable price. Something that you know will last for years. A very good value for money.
Very accurate reading for all task needing a measurement of required temperatures. Very good size and width, easy to wash and easy to store away for the next use. Will purchase another for my swiss butter cream projects, because I like to keep utencils specifically for certain requirements.
A very well-made tool, and it stands up or you can clip it to the side if using a larger pan. It has a small metal rest on the bottom so the glass thermometer doesn't touch the bottom of the pan.
This sugar thermometer works well. I was using it to make desserts over Christmas as my old one was lost and it performed the task perfectly. It seems to be solidly built too so I imagine this thing is going to last for a while.
