It does not turn off when the water boils. It has been returned hoping to get a new one that works. 2nd device same situation...I guess it is a manufacturing issue. I will return it and buy a different one.

We had this pot from 03.2018 till 10.2021. now it is got broken- heats till 30 degree and stops. When I bought it I‘ve got very disappointed to see that actually water heated inside of plastic, as all pot inside covered with plastic
My second Kitchenaid Kettle of this type. The last one I had over 10 years with it boiling at least 10 to 15 times per day. That is a lot of hard use. No other kettle on the market can take that. The order and delivery was smooth and timely. Thank-you.
I was looking for an electric kettle. I am very sensitive to design and material quality. This is the perfect match. Aluminium material makes it of a good and resistant quality. The rounded shape makes it elegant item in the kitchen. Another aspect is the temperature control. This was an important feature for me. No noise!It’s a bit pricy, but it is worth it!
