The Artisan Kettle is a lovely addition to my kitchen, solid and chunky with a nice little teperature guide on the front, easy to fill and the variable temperatue setting is fantastic! The walls never become hot so easy to lift without burning yourself. Purchased this with matching toaster in cream - i already have the artisan mixer - and they look gorgeous

Good insulation so body can be touched when in use. Only negative is that if a low water level is used when boiling the temperature guage does not appear to show true temperature

We have two Kitchenaid products and both have become a problem. Firstly our Proline kettle (now costs around 200) failed after 5 years of use. The heating element failed and Kitchenaid refuse to supply a new element. They patronisingly suggest buying a new kettle for another 200! Our Proline toaster (150) has been replaced once under warranty (3 years in UK but 5 years in USA) and again some years later is only partially working. Again Kitchenaid will not repair anything. It's all made in China so no surprises really. Very poor value so I suggest you don't get taken in as we were by the great looks and lifestyle marketing
This is the best kettle I have ever bought. It looks lovely, it’s so quiet as it boils and makes a lovely little noise when it’s done. I didn’t think I’d use the temperature control but it has been surprisingly useful.
I love my new kettle. It is expensive however the quality shows. It’s stylish too. The temperature gauge is also great so you don’t need to boil again if hot enough. Also love that you can select the temperature so handy for Hot water bottles etc.
My second Kitchenaid Kettle of this type. The last one I had over 10 years with it boiling at least 10 to 15 times per day. That is a lot of hard use. No other kettle on the market can take that. The order and delivery was smooth and timely. Thank-you.
Good Points: Pro'sGood looking kettle with nice temp adjust feature. Solid buildImprovement Points: Con'sLid does not line up perfectly and that is in 2 kettles we purchased and i would expect better coming from kitchenAid and costing this amount of money.
Excellent kettle, very fast boiling. Only one problem, but that is related to the terrible water in our area. Internal cleaning is not easy.
This is my second time of owning this kettle. The new model is lighter to hold, but the lids seem to pop up on their own - had to return one. Still like the lines and the variable temperature slider. Just rather expensive.
