This is a quality insulated tumbler. I enjoyed the fit and finish of the product. It excelled on the beach keeping a drink cold and keep the ice from melting on an extremely hot day. This is also a great alternative to a coffee mug at work or on the go. The upside for coffee is it fit in the cup holders in my vehicle. If you're looking for and insulated beverage holder for the beach, work, or car camping. This would work well. It's a little too beefy for a backpacking application. The tumbler held up well in the dishwasher so far.The only area I would advise caution is the design of the lid. It has a friction fit with a silicone gasket to keep it on the cup. I have a VERY large collection of TK Wide mugs and tumblers, so was very excited to try this addition to the collection--mainly because it is billed as spill-proof. Alas, right after I got it, I put it down on the floor next to me and the dog tipped it over. Yup, coffee spilled on the floor. The mug was only half full so it's hard to tell how the spill compares with the times my little monster has spilled coffee from my TK Wide travel mugs.Aside from that one complaint, I REALLY like this new tumbler. I’ve used a wide-mouth Kleen Kanteen coffee tumbler with the cafe cap as a water bottle for years. I prefer the Rise Tumbler for everyday use though - mostly because of the flip-top lid. The lid is beveled such that it’s like drinking out of a glass. However, it’s certainly not a water-tight seal when it’s closed. The Rise Tumbler is well insulated and lighter weight than some of the other tumblers I’ve used. It also comes in a nice array of colors. Overall it’s a good design so long as you have realistic expectations on the seal of the flip-top lid. I certainly wouldn’t plan on putting this in the bottle holder on my backpack and tossing it on its side without expecting leaks.

Every time I take a drink I’m afraid I’m gunna spill down my mouth onto my shirt.Other than those two complaints i don’t have any negatives to say. This tumbler is was perfect for my morning coffee. I would give it 4 out of 5 stars.
Someone explain to me what a “Splash- and spill-proof Flip Lid” is please.To stop something spilling would suggest liquid can’t come out?Not in this case.Turn the cup upside down - hot or cold, it doesn’t matter - and the liquid will pour out.Personally I would prefer a cup without a lid if it serves no purpose.This new series are no doubt very beautiful. And made in the usual high quality way.But I feel very mislead and unimpressed by these lids; I bought a cup too and that is the same. Liquid pours out. Pointless!I wouldn’t buy again.I’ll stick to the earlier designs in future, like the extra wide ones which are awesome.

This is a spill resistant insulated coffee cup. NOT a sealed bottle. It needs to be kept upright, which based on the return tags at the used gear store, people can't understand. This particular one will keep regular hot coffee drinkably warm for at least five hours- that's the longest it's lasted before my wife finished it off. Serious props to the Klean Kanteen company for a great product.The primary reason I chose this one, however, over all the other options is the ease of cleaning it. There's no additional ridges internally to seat the lid like you see on the majority of flip lids, when you take the lid off there's no sharp single layer metal thickness.
