The removable center portion isn't very handy, or at least I have not found time or need to use it in that way, but as a whole - it is functional, it again disperses your tool load as I said prior, and the quality is very good. -Electrician

I bought this bag and used it for a while. The bag itself was great. I never used the tool caddy but the open space at the bottom allowed for more tools or accessories.The only problem with the bag is its weight. Man is this bag heavy. I switched to another big brand in the tool bag and backpack industry.This bag is right on par with that more expensive brand. Most of the klein bags ive ever owned have been fantastic and worth every penny, this included.I keep this bag as a spare bag in case i need an extra set of tools. A solid backup.

Im a heavy equipment mechanic that works on anything you can imagine in almost any place you can imagine. This bag has been thru hell and back. Its my go-bag for all my diagnostic tools that i need for basically anything I look at. Ive kept it loaded down with over 50lbs of stuff for over a year and half now and it makes at least 10 trips in and out of the truck every day. Ive gone thru several tool bags from other manufacturers and none of them have held up as long as this one has. No broken straps, no blown out bottom, no cracks, rips, tears, anything. The only thing broken on it was my fault, the adjuster slide on the right strap because i slammed it in my truck door, but easily repairable. I searched for 4 months for a new backpack for my work tools and I kept coming back to this one so I bought it . I love this bag . I have a lot of tool bags and boxes but this is exactly what I needed for what I do ( I’m a service engineer , so I work on a lot of different things ) . I highly recommend this bag to anyone that needs a strong well built bag for tools .
This backpack is as good as they come. I had been using the smaller sized Klein backpack for a while now but I had it so packed full that absolutely nothing else could fit. I know a lot of people might say this bag is overkill and you just don't need to have that many tools on hand at one time. For work though, I'm in maintenance in the multi family housing industry which at anytime means I have to be prepared to be a plumber, electrician, appliance repairman, HVAC technician and anything else you can think of. While you're everyday diy guy, or single trade guy can typically do their job with a handful of tools, I need a wide variety on hand. Now, as many people have said here, this bag empty has some weight to it, so add in tools and it can be quite a bit to haul ... MoreThis backpack is as good as they come. There is only one bad thing about this backpack, it is heavy. But it is heavy duty and super protective. If you have expensive tools and meters that you want to carry around and protect you can't go wrong with this backpack. It is awesome. Everything it nicely organized. I love the hook so you can hang bag at work site and quickly access the tools you need. It has a built in hard shell to protect your meter and other sensitive equipment. This backpack was expensive, but the best investment I ever made.
This os by far the best bag you can get for $200. It is well worth the money. The bag is extremely durable. I am a welder in the shipyards in San Diego, and i am in love with this bag. I am sure it will last me many many years. The bag is perfect in every way. Some people are complaining because it is 'heavy' lol.. well man the f up. Good luck finding a good durable bag like this that will last a long time and it not be heavy. Its just part of the deal. And honestly it really is not that heavy.. and im not a big guy either. I would recommend this bag to anyone. Well worth the money! Very roomy, like i said perfect in every way.
This tool backpack is an example that there are still products being manufactured to an very high degree of quality. The fit and finish of this backpack is flawless. Well thought out, premium materials throughout, superb construction throughout. The zippers are exceptionally high quality and run without ever getting hung up. The bottom has a thick high quality resin material that is waterproof. The pockets are extremely durable. And there's a cell phone storage pocket which has inside a soft velour appearing material to place your phone in. The outside of that compartment is a crush resistant (not crush proof) shell. There is nothing disappointing in this product.
This tool bag is extremely high quality. It is rugged and sturdy and there is a bunch of space to hold a wide variety of tools including very small machine screwdrivers, pens, a measuring tape holder, plus room for bulkier tools on the bottom of the bag space. The removable tool caddy will give you many more holding slots if needed. All my tools have a proper home now, instead of being all jumbled up in a duffle bag. I also really like how you can hang the bag from it's built in heavy duty hook. At first I was iffy about buying this tool bag because of the price, but now that I have it I feel like it's worth every penny.
Worth the money so far. I've had it for about a month and so far it's been everything I wanted. I love the pull out section because I fit all of my normal everyday use tools on it, and I put a carabiner on it so that I can hang it up where I'm working. Will update when I see how the bag holds up under my normal use. I will say that it seems to be made better than any backpack bag I've ever seen or had on the job site. 2 reasons it's not 5 stars. First, because how heavy it is. I think they could lighten it up a bit and still maintain structural integrity. Second, the screwdriver slots on the inside of the bag on the back panel are so high up that it makes it hard to get your driver's in.
