The Product is made with cheap chip from china. Will definitely will go off after a year or 2 because this doesn't hold off the long term use.Sounds like the typical Known issues people that this model of amp is a failure. It's out of warranty since I bought on amazon so u'll have three options.-Source a new amp from Klipsch pay 210 $ ( new is 399$) -Have the amp repaired from external source-Disconnect and remove the amp and buy an aftermarket amp to power it

I have all Klipsch speakers and an older Ebay used 12" just died...good service, but this new one is "just as good" in the following ways:a. Tile floors with some area rugs, tall ceiling, fairly large room did NOT present a problem at all...Front-firing IN MY OPINION is better than down-firing. it's more room-filling.AT WORST...YOUR AMP must be able to back this Sub down to reality... namely "SoundProfiles" on cheap amps may not allow for this Subwoofer to be decreased... Very high satisfaction . Klipsch has a 'natural' sound to my ear.

Excellent Sub for small / mid sized sounds systems

I bought this sub to replace a 10-inch, 100 watt Polk sub and noticed a difference immediately! The bass absolutely filled the room, without sounding muddy or boomy, and did not lack for volume. Long story short, if you're thinking about getting this sub to listen to music or watch movies in a small-to-medium sized room then you will not be disappointed.I mainly use my system for watching movies so I ran it through a barrage of demos. One scene in particular really demonstrated the versatility of this sub; Batman vs. Bane in the sewer from "The Dark Knight Rises". This might not be the first scene that comes to mind when demoing a sub but trust me, it is perfect for testing precision and nuance; the subtle, constant rumble of water in the background; the deep, padded thump of punches traded by the characters; the imposing echo of Bane's footsteps against the metal grate; and finally the thunderous boom when he blows the explosive charges and rubble comes crashing down around our hero. This sub proved that it could handle more than just being low and loud.Demos continued: Mad Mad: Fury Road, the opening of Bumblebee, Kong: Skull Island, Ghost in the Shell, The Matrix, Saving Private Ryan, Master and Commander, the list goes on and on and it performed stellar on all of them. The only time the limits of this sub seemed to catch up to it was the opening rumbles of Blade Runner: 2049, a formidable demo indeed. And that's not to say that the low end or volume was an issue but there was quite a bit of reverberation from the sub itself, which can be a bit distracting. Even then, it may have just been the structural integrity of my basement failing and not the speaker itself. So to reiterate, this is a beast of sub that is 100% worth the money (especially if you can get it on sale).

FANTASTIC HOME SPEAKER SUB
15 March 2022

In the last few years I hade become obsessed with adding home theater and updating wherever I can whenever I am able. The addition of this sub is truly a game changer. Once I added this sub it took my system to a another level. The thing is a difference maker when watching your favorite action movie. I love this so much I hade recently added a second one. Just wow. My system is now complete for now and couldn’t be happier. If you want a system and don’t want to break the bank start off slow buying components here and there as they go on sale. This has saved myers so much money. Buy a receiver and bookshelf speakers and you can work from there.

Huge surprise!

First, this review is purely authentic with no one paying me to write it. I am not an influencer or employee. I have been using a Polk Audio PSW250 that I purchased from Circuit City over 20 years ago which still works great. I will use it in a different room. The decision to purchase the Klipsch subwoofer comes when I realized that my Denon AVR-3600h was feeding the Polk Audio subwoofer more than double the power it can handle which was why it sometimes vibrated too much. While I know and expected the Klipsch would provide some improvement from what I already have, I NEVER thought it would deliver what it is. My Polk Audio is an 8" woofer while this is 10", the difference is huge. For once I can say the reviews are accurate based on my experience. From the first time my wife and I heard this in our great room, our eyes lit up with a nice suprise. We are Sci-Fi nerds, so good sound is imperative. To top things off, we got this on sale and are happy we did.

Love me some sound by Klipsch!
20 June 2023

Wonderful sound with exceptional craftsmanship. I've been a klipsch customer for 50 years. John Corbin used to make cabinet brackets for klipsch when they were in Hope Arkansas. That's how I became acquainted with the klipsch brand. I had to have a pair of Heresy II speaker. I still have them. I still use them. After 50 years I believe they sound better if that be possible. So I've added a sound bar and the sub.Every day is Saturday!

Not just for heavy metal
25 February 2023

I received my subwoofer in a very short amount of time. The packaging gave excellent protction. The pitch of the low notes is good. My old speaker was not very precise in tone production. This unit works well for what I listen to. I don't listen to a lot of action movies or heavy rock music that many people listen to. My new speaker handles a wide spectrum of demands. I appreciated the low sales cost and the assistance I receivedfrom Adorama.

Quality Sub Worth the Price
9 September 2023

Great sub-woofer. I have had this sub for close to 2 years now. I use it mostly for enjoying music, but also for movies. It is seriously powerful, reliable, and adds the necessary deepness required to thicken the sound. Without it, the music sounds too thin and just weak. I want to feel the hits when they come! I normally leave it at 50% power and it can still shake the walls on the other side of the house. My only complaint is that I can't bring it with me when I am driving.

I did not realize how a woofer compliments sound UNTIL I heard the range with this one. It has complimented my 100W 6Ohm Yamaha and my Monitor Audio (Same w and o) as well. I also tried it through my Denon from Costco and my Yamaha from 2009. It really, REALLY helps intensify and naturally deliver the tone and feel. also, looks AWESOME without protective screen with that gold cone... I keep my screens on my speakers to protect ...but I wish they had see through protective mesh! Works of art!
