Good speakers, but the screws that attach the feet are junk. Two screws broke off while I was screwing them in, and I still had a quarter inch to go (so it’s impossible that I was overtightening them). One broke flush with the speaker bottom, so I had to relocate the foot in a few inches from the edge and drill new holes and use my own screws. The relocation doesn't look right, but there was no other choice. All because Klipsch didn't spend a few cents more for stronger screws. Makes me wonder what internal components they might have skimped on too. I lost faith, probably won't buy Klipsch again.

I saw a few reviews complaining about the speak feet, at first I was not too worried when I saw the pieces. They appeared fine to me, plastic foot is not an issue. But when I started to attach them to the speaker bodies, I realized there were a few flaws that really should not happen to a reputable product.First, there is no correct instructions on how to install those pieces, the manual that comes with the speaker is for some other type. There is a separate small piece of paper showing a tiny sketch that missed an important detail, as explained in the next point.Secondly, the two pieces of the stand look exactly the same except that they have different spaces of two tiny pop-ups that need to go to the pre-drilled holes. I don't see any reason to intentionally create such distinctions, and if it does, it should be stated in the instruction clearly. And the last is the worst part. Some reviewers said the screws are weak, I think the problem is the screw is too long, so it becomes hard to screw into the body deep enough to hold the piece snug, so when I hand tightened the screw, before it completely drives in to hold the feet tight, it broke. These engineering and design flaws are more common from an amateur manufacture. No review on the sound quality since I am still waiting for the word on how to replace the broken speaker so could not hook up the speaker and listen to it.

Good quality sounding speakers to me. However when I was installing the foot pads the screw broke before the pad was tight to the bottom of the cabinet. I used a screw driver and stopped when the tension got tight. The pad was loose, like a 1/4" loose. I slowly tightened the screw two turns at a time. The screw broke before the pad was secured to the cabinet. There is no way to get the screw out without damaging the mdf. So I have one speaker with one screw in a loose front foot pad. All pads are loose on both speakers so I wouldn't break anymore screws. It works but makes moving them somewhat stressful. I believe the pre drilled hole is not deep enough. Other then that I'm happy with my purchase.

Well for starters I rated these as of four. More than likely they deserve a five but I have an owned them long enough. But as of now I can say I think they’re great! Ever since I switched over to Klipsch speakers They are the only product that I would buy as far as home theater goes. It’s still on my first three speakers my two mains are KLF- 30s for those of you who are familiar with the product. My rear speakers have been Phase techs. They used to be my main speakers until I’ve bought the Klipsch speakers. I used to have to have them fuse so I didn’t blow the speakers out. But after buying the Klipsch that was no longer a problem. They were rated at 900 Watts Per speaker (channel) I always always try to support my local businesses I think it’s only right. But when ... MoreWell for starters I rated these as of four. They were rated at 900 Watts Per speaker (channel) I always always try to support my local businesses I think it’s only right. But when I bought them beings the investment that I Was making after contacting in person my local company their price were twice The amount that I paid for. The first 14 years of my life I was born and raised in Long Island in a town called Massapequa. So I noticed a company that was two towns over and they shipped them to Kennedy airport and a shipping company received them In Miami Florida and delivered them to my house and Stuart, Florida for half the price. I have been involved in several businesses and I understand the overhead and everything else but before I bought these I thought I should go back to the company that I originally tried to purchase them at and even though I was willing to pay a little bit more to support them they wouldn’t budge. So what I’m getting at is I know a bit about how much these speakers cost. They were going to be a Christmas present to myself along with the new TV. So when I looked at BestBuy’s pricing I knew I could save maybe 30% one they had them at their best best sale price. So I waited for Black Friday and I snagged them right away. I’m willing to pay a little bit more knowing I’m going to get decent service And I would be supporting a local business. I didn’t need probably 1/10 of the size of these rear speakers but I love kick butt speakers! What made me originally go with Klipsch was when they first came out with surroundsound in movies theaters I went up to read the name or let’s say the brand and that’s how I first got started with Klipsch they are and still are kick butt!!! When it comes to home theater it’s the one place that I’m willing to spend a little more money and BestBuy’s price when they were on sale or what I considered reasonable and I absolutely am satisfied with them it’s only been like Five or six days since I am one happy camper! I truly hope that BestBuy lives up the warranty. But let me tell you and I’m not and I do not claim to be some expert when it comes to home theater but I do my homework and that is fine I feel like I made the right choice as far as brand and I’m supporting my local BestBuy! Between Black Friday and Christmas I’m sure you can get a good deal on them. If you have to buy them later on just check them out week to week I believe their sales come out on Sunday if I’m correct but I have watched them for six months. So if money is an issue just keep checking them out. If money isn’t an issue then what’s holding you back ??Thank you again BestBuy!!!
I wonder if I'm listening to the same speaker as so many here. I'm giving them another week or more to break-in but in the first 2 days I really can't stand them, at least for music. For home-theater, movie-watching etc. I think they're really quite good for the price. Music though, absolutely not unless you *only* listen to EDM and other electronica, some hip-hop and pop and that's about it. They have a weirdly inflated low-end with a ton of mid-bass but the upper bass and *all* lower mids aren't just hollow, they're just not there. The highs are splashy and brittle and tinny. A cymbal strike only has the "tick" of the attack and no body to it, e.g. you can hear the cymbal, just the idea of a cymbal. But it's very loud, that's certain. Acoustic, classical, jazz and even most rock don't sound right because the mids are so anemic. But they thump and slam and they do go very loud, very easily with a modest amplifier.I was able to dial in an EQ that made them listenable to me for longer than 10 minutes but it's the first time I have EVER turned on the high fitler on my Marantz and just left it on for everything. From there I could dial the EQ normally, but it's telling and I doubt I can live with these.... But I'll give it another week or two.Again, for movie-watching these work well. The sound is very dynamic and forward (as Klipsch are) sounding and with plenty of mid-bass a sub isn't really necessary unless you want total house rumble.I should also mention the build-quality is cheap. The feet for these are plastic that feel like they'll maybe last 5 years at the absolute most before breaking. Also one of the screw for attaching those feet broke at the head, just sheared right off, when I was putting the very first foot on - just from hand-tightening - e.g. even the screws are cheap garbage metal.Sorry, but with all the clamoring about the new Klipsch speaker lines I thought I'd give them a try since I'd not lived with a Klipsch set of loudspeakers since around 2001 (a roommate's) and figured they sound like some changes had been made. They haven't. They're still Klipsch.I entirely understand why this sound may absolutely rock the world for many people, but for any nuance or control in music listening for me they just don't work. Overall, they get a solid pass for home-theater and thus far a total fail for music. I'd give them 3-stars if the 100-dollar-off-each sale price I got was their regular price. But at full normal pricing, 2-star. Just my opinion. You have to listen for yourself.
I owned some Cerwin Vega sound monitors and the were awesome. I kept them for about 25-30 years because I couldn’t find anything to put perform them as far sound. IMO. I always like Klipsch and the quality of their speakers. I remember their sound monitor when I bought the Vegas and did sound better but for the price the CV’s won out. 30 some years later I wanted to upgrade because my wife was bugging to get rid of those monster speakers and my choice was Klipsch. R620f didn’t disappoint. They are awesome tight bass, extreme clarity wow, should have switched long time ago. Oh they are about 1/3 of the size of the Cerwin Vegas but the sound they produce is awesome..
Speakers sound great. But you have screw legs by yourself. Manual reads do not overtight screws. Supplied screws are too long for predrilled holes. You can not secure legs without risk of breaking screws. I broke one out of eight when there was at least 1/16 gap between leg and speaker box. There are four predrilled holes for each leg for proper placement and you cannot just move leg quarter inch sideways. So I had to extract broken screw, put wooden dowel to close extraction hole and use smaller screws to attach legs safely. My advice discard supplied screws and use smaller ones
I bought a pair of these as a front main upgrade to my R-610Fs and moved the 610s to surround about a year ago. I have just upgraded to the R-800Fs for fronts, moved these to surround and now the 610s are rear surround with an R-52C and a pair of R-12SWs powered by an Onkyo TX-NR6050... AWESOME! I still think the 610s are the best bang for the buck though. They were my first Klipsch floor Standers and these don't have a whole lot on them. The 800s are a different story but also a different price range... Overall I still love these 620s though. I would buy them again and I do recommend them if you're looking for good sound that won't break the bank, especially if you can snag a pair on sale. I got mine for $249 ea. and am happy. I bought a pair of these and immediately had an issue before even getting them wired. The speaker feet are attached with wood screws into pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the cabinet. These holes are TOO SMALL for the screws! The instructions say “Do not over tighten” but every screw that I put in, sounded & felt like it was fixing to snap, well before it even engaged with the foot plate. And sure enough, the second to the last screw to be installed, sheared off with 3/16 of an inch to go before engaging the speaker foot plate. I can’t get the broken off screw out and will have to use a high density foam wedge to support the back of that speaker, which is going to look like crap! Purchased at a great price point for my home stereo to complement JBL bookshelf speakers. I have an extensive vinyl record collection and needed a bigger sound in a larger room of my house thus the acquisition of these beautiful R-620f speakers. I expected more bass as an avid jazz/R & B listener which is why I gave it 4 stars. The sound combined with the the JBL’s covers the frequencies needed to make for great music. I purchased the Klipsch subwoofer for that rich deep bass sound that James Brown is known for (Bootsy Collins funk). VERY HAPPY with this purchase. BUT, I must say the feet provided will need minor widening of the pilot holes to properly seat the screws thus the plastic feet to the base of the speaker.
