Klorane Detox Shampoo With Organic Mint 400ml

I got a sample of this from Ulta and I actually thought when I picked it that it was the nettle shampoo for oily hair because I had heard it was good. This sample was large enough to have been used twice, but this shampoo didn't foam at all and I ended up using the whole thing. I'm used to natural shampoos, sulfate free shampoos, shampoos that don't foam so I don't need a foam, but this just didn't feel like it was cleaning my hair. So again, still thinking it was the nettle shampoo I just let it sit on my scalp like a treatment then washed and dried with my usual gentle shampoo and conditioner. This has menthol in it (another con, I know it's in shampoos a lot because it can give an immediate relief, but IMO it's not really good for sensitive skin) the smell at first was really herbal, I mean it smelled like nettle. Then the menthol kicked in. I didn't smell mint, lemon or tea, all things mentioned in the description under scent. I also don't like that it didn't seem to clean well. I was looking at the nettle shampoo after realizing this wasn't it, and saw a citrus shampoo in trial size at Ulta. It has glycolic acid and no menthol, so I might consider that as a scalp treatment. But I can't recommend this shampoo because it doesn't really act like a shampoo. I know other reviewers also felt like it didn't really clean their hair. And there were also negative comments on the scent. For some reason influenster stops us at 500 and I'm currently at my limit. Even if I can no longer follow back, I read my followers posts. I like their posts, answer questions, and answer polls first!

AMAZING

Okay so this review is going to sound really over dramatic but you guys need to know a bit of backstory.For almost 6 years I have had an unknown scalp condition. Almost like psoriasis but worse. Every time I washed my hair, my scalp would tighten and then peel off in HUGE chunks. I had tried everything, Shampoo bars, not washing my hair, only washing my hair with apple cider vinegar, medicated shampoos and T/Gels, soaking my hair in every kind of oil imaginable, low shampoo shampoo, natural shampoos and washing my hair with ground up aspirin and even yogurt. NOTHING WORKED. You name it, I tried it...But this stuff is magical for me. I have used the Klorane Shampoo and Conditioner for 3 weeks now and I have never been happier. (Told you it would sound dramatic) honestly not only has my scalp condition completely disappeared from the first wash, it has actually completely cleaned my hair from product build up - bear in mind I used a LOT of products - AND it has made my hair so soft and smooth to touch. I don't remember my hair ever being that soft, even from before my scalp condition started. I honestly couldn't recommend these products enough if you have a scalp condition or product build up. I was so shocked that it worked but I cannot express how happy I am that it did. I would give this product 6 stars if I could. Amazing

Really does what it's supposed to, it clarifies the hair and scalp. Very refreshing. I have dyed blonde mid length straight hair. I just use it once a week maximum to get rid of any silicone or product build up, always leaves my hair very clean feeling. Could dry it out and dehydrate it of oils if used more frequently. Feels and smells like toothpaste! But works so well. Will last a long time too. Excellent value, will definitely buy it again.

About 3 hours later the smell was still as strong and overpowering, I decided to tie my hair up hoping it would be more settled. Later at dinner with my husband, it was still as strong-smelling, he could smell me from across the table, over the top of my perfume. Later that night I ended up with a migraine, I am generally prone to migraines so it's no surprise but I generally believe the strong smell of this shampoo contributed to it. Perhaps I shouldn't have used so much product, to begin with, but I haven't been able to wash my hair with it since. A positive however is that I didn't have to wash my hair for 6 days as it stayed really fresh, clean, and smooth looking the whole time.

Love it

I bought this Klorane DETOX SHAMPOO WITH ORGANIC MINT and the conditioner and I’ve been loving the results. I love the packaging. It’s gorgeous and I also love how great this smells combined with the conditioner. The scent lingers around for some time. After washing my hair I used the conditioner and then the shampoo and rinsed off the product. My hair smells Devine and my hair feels softer and shiny and at the same time my hair feels fresh and cool. It doesn’t dry out your hair and the whole bathroom smells awesome after using this.

Minty smell

I love the fresh minty smell on this Klorane scalp detox shampoo. It makes this shampoo so natural product.After using this shampoo my hair is certainly left feeling cleansed without ever feeling stripped or dry. This leaves my hair soft, shinier and smoother with its conditioner.This shampoo is light blue in colour and gel texture. It is easy to apply foam up really well. It is easy to wash off.This is perfect for those who find their hair dull, heavy and dirty, and experience an irritated or dry scalp due to pollution.I'm happy with this shampoo and the whole range. Definitely will buy this one again.

Super cleansing

Lovely clean, fresh smelling shampoo that does seem to cleanse your hair. If you have coloured hair, you really do need to use a conditioner as it is difficult to get a comb through otherwise. Did not leave my scalp tingling like other people have mentioned, but I'm sure that it could do. The reason for only 4 stars is the lather. Like other Klorane shampoo's I have used, it does not lather well. You either have to do a double wash or saturate your hair and apply a lot of shampoo.

Very Refreshing Shampoo

I really love the refreshing tingling my scalp feels when washing my hair with the Klorane blue shampoo! I received the sample size in one of my previous Lovely Skin orders. And that sample introduced me to my new favorite shampoo. It does not strip my hair color too! Big plus as it is a challenge to find a good shampoo that keeps color treated hair looking good almost to the next color appointment!
