While not perfect, the auto adjusting pliers from Knipex drastically speed up my workflow by not having to readjust the pliers all the time. I definitely recommend these pliers.

Been using at my job for about 6 months now, I am an industrial electrician so I beat the heck out of all my tools. I switched all of my hand tools over to knipex and while very expensive I never get frustrated about a tool not working like it's supposed to and btw my klein journeyman tools lasted a year before needing to be replaced these knipex tools dont hardly wear

This is my goto set of pliers. Open the jaws and squeeze the handle and the adjusting is done for you. I own Knipex Cobra's in multiple sizes as well as their plier wrenches. I hope they offer the Auto Adjusting in more sizes of these pliers and I wish the plier wrenches had the Auto Adjusting feature as well. These are just that much easier to work with that I rarely grab my older Cobra's.
These pliers can grip onto a 1" pipe and hold me up(210 lbs) with no slipping what so ever. They are very handy and convenient when needing a back up on a bolt or stud that's spinning. Have not rounded one head yet and I highly recommended these if you can afford them and think you will use them a lot.
Fantastic. I just wish they made these in the 180 size as well. I have them in my Tractor tool box. Very useful. I am thinking about getting another pair for my shop. I have purchased several Knipex items, and find them to be well worth the price. I would not hesitate to recommend them at the prices available on Home Essentials Direct.

I have thousands of dollars of tools. I this tool all the time. No wrench comes close. The self adjustment automatically keeps the jaws open until you apply pressure. It's a feature that makes working infinitely easier for a variety of tasks.
These things are amazing. I'm usually an impulsive buyer, but for about 9 months I went been back and forth trying to decide if I should buy these. Every other self adjusting set of pliers I've ever tried failed miserably after getting my hopes up. The price tag made them a decent gamble, but I've always been a fan of knipex so I figured I'd roll the dice...and boy did it pay off. I wish I would have bought a set when I first saw them. No ragerts.
They’re not suited for a new construction work environment. They keep getting stuck in position and sometimes are nearly impossible to adjust
