Perfectly cuts hanging frame wires, bicycle brake lines, etc - wish I had bought one a long time ago! LOL. Lock is a little goofy but practical once you get used to it
These are the best cutters for cutting wire. It is very smooth and easy to cut. I would definitely buy these again.
You get what you pay for, and cheap China cutters can't cut it.. Cutting stranded aircraft cable requires a tight precision tool that doesn't allow the wire to wedge between the jaws and this tool does the job. You can't buy a cable cutter for $ 14.95 and expect it to do the job. If you expect to cut cable over 1/8", I would recommend you look at a bigger size to get the extra leverage.
