They cut through anything that can fit in them like butter, especially if the bolt is in the notch. Dont mess up your other cutters on hard stuff, these will save you time and money.

Incredible product! One of my go-to hand tools. Expensive? Yep. But well worth it. I've used it for well over a year now and haven't cut anything that's done any real damage to the hardened molars on these monsters. The pliers chew through every piece of metal that fits in its mouth. Very impressive!

Perfect for cutting screws and other small soft and harder steel. I grab this, rather than dull my other tools that can cut screws and steel cable but are not made for that. Using the right cutter jaws means ease of use, ergonomic. No need to hacksaw bolts, grab this up to a certain size before a bigger bolt cutter is required.
Quality of these is amazing. I purchased them in the hopes to never have to use them but have a good product when i need it. More specifically these will be going on my boat to cut off hooks if the end up in a hand. They are not cheaply made like many others and I dont believe they will rust.
So far these have been great. Got them to cut fencing that I use to just use pliers to cut but was killing my hand after a few cuts. These make it easier to use, just wish I had gotten a larger size.

This is an expensive product but I don’t think they are overpriced. I have broken quite a few Bolt cutters big and small but these feel almost over engineered. I will update if I ever break them.

They do cut through small bolts fine, and quiet obviously they are good at cutting everything in between when it comes to diameter. So installing some chain link fence? *clip* cuts through it like butter.. Or if your putting in steel fencing to reinforce a concrete pad? These things make it such a more efficient job. One of the best tools I have bought for myself. I'm actually sad I didn't buy these a lot sooner. Bought them at the recommendation of a small engine mechanic. With these, you really get what you pay for. Actually its almost a steal if you consider how devalued the US dollar is. And that's one thing about them. Nov-2016 Update Well I've had these things 4 years.. and they have MORE than paid for themselves. I apply a drop of machine oil to the moving points every now and then, try not use them for larger jobs (read abuse them).. and these cutters have been treating me swell! I don't know if anything has changed in regards to the manufacture process since I bought mine, but if Knipex is still putting along releasing quality cutters like these, rest assured, it will be money well spent. So do yourself a big favor and buy these today. You seriously will thank yourself later.
incredibly well tooled. i'm using these to replace a larger pair of bolt cutters for cutting durawall wire for cmu construction. these are smaller, lighter, and turn a once two handed job into a one hand job.
