This is my first experience with the Kobra brand, as I am moving up from the home office style of Fellowes machines. So far so good.My main reason for choosing this machine was the continuous run rating of the motor. The CC4 is a reasonably priced cross cut shredder. The main difference from similar priced models is the ability for continuous use. The speed of shredding is good and it munched through several reams of paper in 40 minutes. My shredding is a mixture of a4 paper, card, payment card receipts and other paper of various shapes and sizes and it dealt with it all well. I have not tried to shred more than 8 sheets at a time.
So far I am very impressed with this shredder. It shreds credit cards easily and of course paper. It's reasonably quiet and sits well under the desk. It appears robust and hopefully will last a long time but only time will tell. Impressed so far though.
It works really well, is made in the EU so saves airmiles and is protected by EU law unlike 98% of machines! The service of buying is excellent.
Chose this for its large bin capacity and DIN Security level P-4 rating shredding capability.
An excellent product but could only give it 4 stars because when i went to shred 12 sheets that had numerous staples they became blocked and subsequently the machine froze and would not go backwards or forwards.Subsequently i had to switch the machine off and try and clear the blockage which was a major challenge and took a while .After clearing it i went back to shredding and only shredded around 8-10 sheets to avoid it blocking again and it worked quite well. I found that it will shred 14 sheets but only if there are not staples in them.Other than that a great machine that works continuously as advertised.
