Wow, I dont know where to start. The Kodak Pixpro AZ405 is an amazing digital camera! I am definitely an amateur when it comes to photography but this camera makes it interesting to learn more. It has so many features like Auto Mode, Manual Mode, Shutter Priority, Face Beautifier (makes the face look softer), Panorama Mode, Scene Mode, Quick Recording, Zoom, Flash Lamp, etc. etc. I was able to easily set the date and time without manual assistance. However, in the instructions, you can scan the barcode with your phone or go to the website to download the manual. I've had the Kodak Pixpro AZ405 for about 4 days and am very pleased with it. It came with extra batteries. I took pictures both inside and outside and they turned out very good. I used both a tripod and just hand held and had only 3 pictures that had a little blur to them, but I determined that it was my fault. As far as buying the right sd card, the directions tell you in bold print what type of sd cards NOT to use. If you use the wrong style, kind or gb, they will not work. My missus' and I had a lot of fun when it came in. She changed outfits and posed both outside and in and was very pleased with the pictures. I am still getting used to using all the various settings, but can't wait to go to the aviary and take pictures of the birds. I bought this camera to replace a Kodak 10.3 mega pixel camera I've had for about 10 or 12 years. the older camera still works, but the view screen on the back is getting so you can't see what your pointing at. This new camera has a very vivid screen and I had no problem to see what I was aiming at. If this camera lasts as long as my last camera I will be very happy.

Sometimes, I get unfocused cause I can't hold the camera straight while the lens is fully out. The weight of the camera is not as balanced and at times I feel a tripod or having a sturdy way to handle it is required. However, after some time it becomes quite easy to adjust the body to balance the camera evenly. I just still don't seem to keep it well-focused when it's fully zoomed out.Nevertheless, I prefer an optical zoom camera versus just a digital one, it really makes a better focus and clearer image, in my opinion. Plus, after some time I will get a hang of it. At the moment, close-ups and slightly far images are just so nice when they get captured with this camera. It really allows me to take so many remarkable memories and print them for safekeeping or upload them to my digital folders.

I am thoroughly impressed with this camera! I've always struggled with knowing when to use what settings on a camera like this, but this one is very straight forward and easy. It's great to point and shoot right out of the box, but there are also settings that are easily changed to enhance the shots as well. It has auto scene, object tracking, and you can even edit pics right from the camera. It has a powerful 40x zoom that I just couldn't believe how crystal clear it stays, even at long distances. I took it down to my mother in laws house recently, and shot a few outdoor shots with a mountain and cemetery in the background, and feel they really captured the beauty of the spot perfectly, despite the dreary day. It is a bit larger and well-designed for grip, so easier to use for those who want a good handle on the camera, and no fumbling around with their phone. It also enables greater stability for your videos or shots, to get better focus. The buttons are easy to use and the features are pretty self-explanatory, making it quite handy for beginners. They also have a website that you can go to for more assistance. There are a ton of features, and my dad is exploring them one-by-one. The wide angle or panorama feature are definitely a big hit.
