This donut collar worked very well for our foster dog recovering from his neuter surgery. I think the proportions of his body were just right that he wasn't able to reach his incision to lick but that may not be true for every dog. He didn't mind wearing it at all. In fact, he seemed quite content and used it as a pillow to sleep. It did cause him to snore though which I thought was adorable. He was still able to eat, drink and use it as a battering ram to play.

My dog hates the hard cones. She relaxed quickly with this but continually removed it. Sometimes she would keep it on for a few hours, but she always took it off. We even had it connected to her collar which meant she couldn\'t completely free herself from the pillow but would walk around it with it half off her causing distress. Her neck was 18 inches and we bought the large which was suggested for her size. Would not buy again.

We got this for our cat who has abdominal surgery. We put her collar through the loops like you are supposed to, but the loops are only on one side of the collar so she flipped the donut over her head and was still attached by the three loops. Her collar became quite tight and this was a scary situation, she ended up popping it in her struggle. It\'s a great concept, and very comfy for the pets. If they have sharp nails be careful, and if they are not escapees.

I bought this for my mini Schnauzer to avoid the cone of shame after his recent neutering. It worked well along with a onesie for a week. It then developed a pinhole leak, probably from bumping the wire on my pup’s crate. This was hard to fix and we gave up. Mainly since he had healed enough.
I bought it knowing it worked for a similar size dog but my puppy must be pretty limber as she was able to reach her stitches (she was desexed) and lick them.Product is okay but more information about sizing and dog type would be better. The size I bought was the correct size for her neck.A shame it wasn't as effective as the cone of shame, as the cushion is far comfortable than the cone.
My poor litle girl was struggling with a big collar, so much happier with the small blow up one. Able to use her flap to go in and out, pick up things and not keep crashing her head on the floor. Main thing is that it kept her from licking her wound.Hardest thing was blowing up the collar. Also needs to be checked as does lose some air after a couple of days.Pleased with product
My dog had a neck surgery so could not wear a collar, however she also had a leg surgery and was licking it. Was very hard to find a way to protect her from licking the leg wound while not further injuring the existing neck stitches. This collar was perfect- it was soft and it sat low enough on the neck. My dog has an 18” neck so between sizes- I got the XL but the L would’ve been fine for sure. The XL was nice and loose, which is fine for my dog but for others would be too loose. My dog is currently battling cancer and I feel a lot less guilty having this on her than a traditional e cone. She can also eat and drink with this collar on, as well as looks comfy when sleeping (kinda uses as a pillow). Would buy again/recommend.
4.5 stars! Collar works great! Used on my 3.7kg pup after her spay. She was in it all day and slept in it too, only having taken it off to brush her. Haven’t needed to reinflate at all these pass 2 weeks. It seemed like she enjoyed having it on which was a plus. The collar could’ve been a smidge bigger, as it seemed at some moments she almost reached her incision.
Highly recommended. Much more comfortable for our Maltese/Shitzu to wear than the plastic E-Collar. Prevented our dog from reaching her front foot which had stitches.Could easily reach water bowl throughout the day.
Find something else. Seems like a good idea, but after only hours of putting this on our pet we were already looking for something different.This collar features a "removable cover" but the zipper was broken in the package and came off the fabric within minutes. Now the inflatable tube protrudes out of the fabric case.We also have to keep spinning the collar around since it's not actually round and our dog can lick his surgical area depending on how it's oriented.We ordered a small size for our 7.5 pound Morkie.
