I have a Cairn Terrier who takes no time to rip apart any kind of plush toy. He loves plush toys so we have spent a small fortune trying to find ones that would last longer than 2-3 days. This one has lasted a month and still is not punctured! We will be ordering more.

Well...don't buy it. When Kong says it is tear resistant, you might want to believe it - but don't. It lasted less than 10 minutes.

Description says no stuffing, however my dog after a few weeks opened up the points Of the star and seem to pull some stuffing out. Also the first day she chewed the velvet type print off therefore it didn’t last very long.
Great fetch toy, so far withstood chomping of a springer who usually loves to destroy her toys.
If your dog is not a destroyer I recommend this toy. Our dogs find and rip the sqeeker out within 15 min of playing. This new tear resistant made it to day 2 before it was destroyed. Still didn't hold up to my standard but overall was a good toy
My dog is not an aggressive chewer but is persistent. He doesn't like rubber toys so tried this after he tore open our pillows and chewed through blankets. Within 10 minutes of him suckling on the points there are holes and tears. Nice toy and the size is good but not if your dog chews at all.
I had high hopes for this toy, but my little girl ruined it within an hour. She had a hole in it and was eating the stuffing.
I have purchased other Kong Maxx toys with good results. I purchased 2 of these stars. My chocolate lab tore into one of these within 30 minutes and got the squeaker out but the other star toy is still in good shape even after going through the washer and dryer and being mauled by that same chocolate lab. Maybe that one was just a dud. Due to my positive experience with all the other Kong maxx toys I would would still highly recommend them. I do wish they would make more designs.
Thought we’d give these a try because my dog is a chewer. She had the squeaker broke in ten mins and a hole in about 30. It was fun while it lasted. Will give the other one to a less aggressive doggo
