We have 3 Springers and they go through dog toys like there;s no tomorrow. Most last less than 5 minutes. Others they use interest in quickly. They can see the ball, smell the ball, observe the ball moving around, even reach it with their tongue, but try as they may, they cannot get the ball out of this toy. Nice brush! The dog actually likes to be brushed with this brush. He also likes to bite, tear and peel it when he does not want to be brushed anymore, and it holds up well too. It does not hold so well on the loose hairs, so one should be prepared to remove some hair after brushing. The flat side of the brush is also really good for removing hair, I use it to remove hair from the bed and sofa. The brush is soo nice for his fur. #HappyDog

As long as your dog allows you to use this, it’s a great tool to make grooming easier or maybe more fun depending on your dogs personality and love/hate relationship with the bath. I find that these are especially helpful in dogs that hate the bath or get anxious. This can make it go quicker and in return, your pho will be scrubbed gently and nice clean I definitely recommend this product along with many others, by this brand!

I absolutely love these brushes for bathing my dog! It worked wonders in getting so much hair off of my St. Bernard during a bath. It was a win/win situation for us. He loved it because it was like a big giant massage for him and I loved it because it helped with less shedding! It’s also great for giving a really deep, cleaning scrub for your dog and cleaning the hair off this brush is so easy! This brush is a game changer for batting! #

I have a small long-haired cavoodle. She still has her soft puppy hair, but it's starting to matte very easily, apparently the transition from puppy to adult hair is prone to matting. So I thought this groom brush would help avoid the matting between brushes. Unfortunately it didn't separate the hair because the 'teeth' on the brush are too large and widely spaced, so it misses all the hair in between. So low rating for dematting but good if your dog loves a massage!

My dog was sort of afraid of this brush. Chloe is a rescue and doesn’t have a lot of experiencing with grooming. She’s a 15 year old short hair dachshund so shedding isn’t that much of an issue. I think a dog with shorter stiffer more wirey hairs like my dog might benefit from shorter closer together bristles. I think this brush is better suited for dogs with more mid-length soft coats such as spaniels, retrievers, long hair chihuahua, etc.

My 2yr staffy x ridgeback sheds a lot of fine short hair. This brush does the job better than expected removing loose hairs. Relieves him of itchiness once they’re removed & he literally grabs & throws the brush at me a couple times a week.Only downfall is the loose hair flying everywhere & clean up after it. Would be better if it had some kind of grabber on the flip side or something... but the product does what it says. Removes loose hairs. Very easily. Rock loves it. I use it dry before a wash & few days after.

Must Have Brush!

This was recommended to us by our groomer for our newly adopted basset hound/beagle mix. He is currently shedding and this pulls so much of his undercoat out so that it doesn't end up around the house. It says to use in a circular motion, but sometimes we have to resort to a back and forth motion, which he seems to enjoy and the fur comes off like crazy either way. His hair is very short so it doesn't always collect in the brush like it would with a long hair pup, but we brush him outside and let the fur fly and it's working great!

Removes hair great!

My border collies loves brush time with this brush. It doesn't hurt him and is really effective. He gets so excited for brush time because it's like a good scratch for him. He leans into me when I'm brushing him so I know it doesn't hurt. The only downside is he enjoys it too much I think he thought it was a toy and chewed one so I'm onto the second.
