My dog chowed through the rope in 4 chomps. The rope could be better quality but the ball is super tuff. My 80 pound pit plays with it everyday and hasn’t been able to destroy it.

The ball is great, tough and durable and great bounce. My staffy chews every toy up and the ball survives. Within minutes he pulled the rope out lol. The ball is exactly the same as the one you can buy as a standalone ball so I'd just get that instead of this rope version.

I have a silver Labrador retriever and she chewed the rope off in one day. This was one of the least sturdy toys we have purchased for her. If you have a chewer do not get this product

I love kong extreme toys only toy my America Staffordshire does not destroy. The ropes however are not so good. The kong extremes are a bit expensive and most stores don't carry them.
The rope measured 30cm. I was expecting much bigger from the picture. Ball attachment bounces well and has taken next to no damage from my heaviest chewing clients. Dogs who like tug games love this, dogs who want balls fall out of interest within minutes. I have had to re-thread and re-tie knots a couple of times after Houdini dogs which use their incisors to undo the knots have a play!
I don?t think it is appropriate for smaller dogs? when she tried to play with it.. the ball hit her in the head? you could tell she was seeing stars .. she hurt herself ? the rope is short and not much area for swinging .. anyway this is the first Kong product I have not been happy with ..
English Bull Terriers have high prey drive and this toy proves excellent shaking entertainment. It would also make a great tug toy. BT\'s are power chewer! We didn\'t supervise carefully enough on one occasion and she chewed part way through the rope. We made a new knot and it is back in play.
My dog is a shredding machine. The black kong is the one which lasts the longest. I wish the rope was tougher - it went in less than a day.
Our lab puppy loves to fetch and play with this toy. Only concern is when she shakes it wildly in her mouth she may knock herself out.
Horrible rope ripped within couple minutes of play just by herself not even tugging with a person or anything... but the only good part is the amazing ball but could've baught same one for $5 less!
