This isn't as precise as the bench top version of the Kreg jig. But if you're joining large panels, or if the panel that will get drilled is already fixed in place, this is helpful. I wish the surface were a tad wider so a clamp could hold it in place better. Even when clamped in place, you need to hold the jig steady with one hand while drilling with the other.

it works well. you simply clamp it over where you need to drill the hole and use the provided drill bit with the stop. i do however recomend getting a clamp that works the way vise grips do. i used a jorgensen screw type clamp and it got a bit old having to unscrew, move and resecure the jig. But to be fair i was drilling 50 plus holes in a row for that project.

I periodically buy fresh drillbits, and number two square drivers four pocket holes, and I discovered if you buy this set it’s cheaper than getting them separately. Plus, you get a back up jig to throw in the tool bag.

Love all things Kreg. Hex makes the switch out faster. And the new tool to tighten the collar on the bit is far superior to the original tiny allen hex wrench that was so easy to misplace/lose.
I have a full Kreg jig set, but when I was ready to use it, I couldn’t find either the necessary drill bit or the long screwdriver bit. A quick search on Lowes.com showed both available in my local store. While looking, I ran across this item which included the bit, stop collar, hex key and screwdriver bit, as well as the drill fixture, for only a dollar or so more than the bit alone. I considered that a bargain!
Loved this! The directions werent completely clear, but a practice run on scrap wood sorte it out. Works great!
I purchased this as a replacement for the one side of my Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 320 after I broke the little grey sliding clip, it worked perfectly, eventually I broke this ones clip too, and upgraded to a K4 Master Jig system, as I could foresee with the amount of pocket holes I make, it would be better than purchasing Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig 310s every time I broke the little clips. I do wish it came with another spacer, so I could just clip a few 320s and 310s together to create any configuration I want when working with very wide timber beams, I have managed to put about 10 together and create my own jig from it, its a massive time saver when roofing.
Great tool except for your limited by the preset range of wood thickness. Preset wood thickness might not be exactly what you need but great for what it is and works just fine.
Jig works great for pocket holes. It did a good job on my first project. However, after the first project the jig stopped locking in place snuggly with the grey tab. I'm still using the same jig because I don't want to have to buy another one. It still makes accurate holes, but adds to the time of construction because I have to keep making sure the jig is in the correct place.
Pretty slick idea. Worried about the plastic, no problems. Used on plywood. Worked fine for first 20, then holes were not so clean. Had to clear of "whiskers" with sandpaper, even tho bit seemed still plenty sharp. Probably not a problem in real wood. I am not a fan of square hole drivers, even tho an improvement over slots and Phillips. Tended to slip occasionally, so Kreg moving to star would be good.If you are going to do several, get the kit with 2 guides--it will save a lot of time measuring and reconfiguring.
