I was a bit apprehensive spending that much on a subwoofer but with ams's easy and affordable payment plan i went ahead and did it and MAN WAS I GLAD I DID! These things are state of the art and well surpass even the description! Their weight and construction you can tell right away before u even plug them in that they are quality and they are. I want expecting a 8 inch 109 watt sub to have such big clean power! Shakes my while recording room!!!!!!

These really step up the sound of the Roku 5s I am pairing them with. Took a bit to get the crossover and level just right, but once it was dialed in, everything sounded really great. Helps so much for getting the low end right.
I wondered whether this subwoofer would really make much of a difference, but now I realise what I was missing I simply cannot mix without it. It is a fantastic piece of kit, and perfect for a small home studio. I would recommend it to anybody
KRK is knows for quality products. I've never owned until now. Absolutely amazing game changer for my home live stream studio. Completely easy to use and set up with additional studio monitors (KRK) Very happy with my new purchase.
Great sub that allows you to extend the bottom end.
I purchase this KRK S8.4 Sub to pair with the Adam A4V Monitors. It has the requisite I/O connections for Balance Audio. I used an SPL meter per the manual with a Pink Noise track and dialed in the output level to match the A4Vs. In my setup, Sub under the desk, it seemed to like the 100hz cutoff setting but still playing with the settings. The A4Vs are dialed back -6db and the Sub level is about 90% on the dial. I might experiment with the sensitivity switch (set to normal now) but I noticed a higher noise floor when input audio is off. Its Tight. Its s great little sub for this small room. I liked the standby option OFF switch. I prefer the Sub ON when working. Its a heavy solid cabinet. Comes with a small thin pad for a desktop or shelf.
