Overall the Karcher 17L WD 3.5 worked great, with a strong motor I was able to use it for a number of tasks around the house and garageSadly within 6 months, the clips that hold the top section (motor) to the bin broke. I promptly returned it without any issues and upgraded to the Karcher 30L WD 6 which uses a very different clip system.Also to note that the filtering system on the Karcher 17L WD 3.5 needs to be handled with care. When taping out the dirt and dust, the carboard like filter starts to bend and will need replacing before you know it.

Great product..easy to use and sucks really well. Clean bottom bits of water & debris etc out of spa with wet function.The filter does get clogged a bit after every use had to clean it and its a bit delicate to wash/rinse slpit easily. Recommend buying more than one filter cartridge.

Purchased this product to use in a carpeted garage and it as worked perfectly. The vacuum bag has a large capacity however it is a once only use. It was used to vacuum out a car and did alright without the extra car cleaning system.Would highly recommend this vacuum for a garage or workshop

Having the second power outlet to plug the sander into which starts the vacuum when the sander starts was the clincher for me. You’ll likely want to get an extension lead as well. Having the attachments able to be stored on the base is very useful too. You may consider some of the additional attachments depending on how you’re using it (i.e the extension hose to connect to power tools)
Great machine with good suction & large capacity body. Best feature is the ability to connect power tools to extract dust automatically. When power tool is turned on the vac also turns on & then turns off when power tool switched off. Brilliant.
It's a good vacuum but haven't tried it on wet yet. Attachments are expensive. Not very impressed with the Power Tool Attachment pack. Poweroutlet fuse should be an a accessible trip switch, have blown it when the saw jammed now I must take it to a certified repairer to replace a fuse
I got this vac as an exchange for a previous faulty unit( another brand ) Ok so iv'e only just opened it and used it for a short time.First impressions, reasonable quality for the price Good points.: power take off socket works as intended great!.Seems to have plenty of suction and airflow. Poor points: Noise emitted from tool end way to noisy need earmuffs.no high /low suction gate valve annoying!,no dust brush, lousy. both hose pipe and power chord to short. I know it says that in the specs but you would expect better from a company like Karcher.
This has worked out exactly as hoped. It does a great job cleaning up dust, shavings, leaves etc in my shed. Plenty powerful enough and in addition, the ability to plug it into power tools and have it automatically turn on is great. Vacs like this can be really noisy but this is actually pretty quiet which is another big plus.
Absolutely awesome...the low foot means places normally missed like under fridge/lounge suite this reaches easy...suction amazing with corners and cobwebs easily cleaned up too. Bought for the man's power tools but grandkids and adults loving this I am thinking to get another one for his man cave and chuck the fancy vacuums ...I don't think we have unplugged it yet with young grandkids visiting its easy enough even they cleaning up after themselves....highly recommend as must for any house start up as so versatile...just wished the car groom round brush was in the pack but hunting out where to get this too!
Great suction and the auto turn on feature works perfectly.I use it in conjuction with a 50mm typhoon dust extractor for a dust free no hassle workshop power tool solution.
