L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Day Cream 50ml

I'm in my early 50's and have fairly normal skin on my face, with rather dry skin on my neck that craves extra moisture, plus it has pigmentation issues - so I have been keen to try this cream that is specifically tailored to mature skin needs, as I know my neck in particular needs extra care.\n\nThe moisturiser comes boxed, with details about the ingredients and the benefits of the cream listed on it. \n\nThe cream content is 50mls and is housed in a heavy white jar that works well to keep the contents pure and fresh.\n\nThe cream is pale peach in colour and has a subtle,pleasant fragrance. It also has SPF15 protection, an important extra that is needed in a day cream.\n.\nI'm delighted to report that it delivers as promised on boosting hydration and firming and toning. My skin looks and feels so healthy and content, it's amazing what a difference a quality moisturiser makes to how my skin behaves.\n\nI think swapping to a moisturiser for my age group has been a smart move as my skin is responding so well to it. I highly recommend this for all mature age beauties, it's targeted and so beautifully hydrating.\n

As with all the L’Oreal products I have used, the writing on the bottles or jars is kept to a minimum while all the instructions and information is printed on the boxes in which the jars or bottles are packaged. \n \nThe day cream is butter coloured, creamy and quite thick for a day cream. The sweet, floral fragrance is not too strong and does not linger. The addition of Manuka honey and calcium B5 help to repair the skin barrier function, restore skin density and support skin tone. \n \nWhen I apply the rich repairing day cream in a circular motion all over my face, the cream absorbs quite well even though it takes a bit more effort to work the day cream into my skin. However, this becomes easier as the days go on. It’s important to me that a day cream doesn’t impact on the foundation I am using and although I use a primer and wait for each product to dry before applying the next, I have found that a BB cream works better than a liquid foundation with this day cream. \n \nMy skin is looking radiant, plump and firm but I wouldn’t shout to the rooftops that my wrinkles have dissolved but maybe my skin is slightly de-crinkled and with continued use perhaps this will improve, but my skin definitely looks firm and healthy. \n\nI think, because the Rich Repairing Day Cream is so thick, I will use this during the cooler months when my skin needs a richer moisturiser. I have no hesitation in recommending this day cream to anyone with dry, mature skin. \n \n

This review is for the night cream. When I received it from Influenster I was excited to try it out. But after trying the day cream first I had my reservations. I didn’t care too much for the day cream but gave the night cream a try anyway. I’m glad I did because it delivers. It’s quite moisturizing and definitely last longer than the day cream. I took one start off because it does slightly irritate my skin but it doesn’t last long. (my skin is very sensitive) I would but this product again. So I've been using the loreal daytime sunscreen moisturizer and the night time moisturizer for about a week. And let me say that my skin feels soft and smooth. I've noticed the fine lines around my forehead and bridge of my nose are not as prominent. I would most definitely buy this product and will when I run out of the sample jars I was sent. I have been using the Age Perfect Collagen Expert Night Moisturizer for several weeks along with Age Perfect Collagen Expert Day Moisturizer. I awaken with noticeably soft, hydrated skin. My laugh lines have become less noticeable and my skin looks and feels more lifted, especially in the jaw line area. I do highly recommend this product! For the price of these products, you can easily afford both!

I usually concoct my own face creams / moisturizer with raw shea butter , and a few prepared brands I already love, but I love to try the products as is for a time, on their own , too, to see how they stand on their own. I found it to be creamy but very light, yet very moisturizing. A little bit went a long way - not only my face, but neck and upper chest. I was most pleased with the fact it did not irritate my skin , I have a couple sensitive areas that can be red, and it combats those areas from flakes. I wore an Ulta buff on formula mineral make up over it, and my face was smooth. I also noticed fine lines were less apparent on my face, on my neck, and my upper chest. I have used only this every day for a week, and I am happy with it. It very well may take over for my summer moisturizer instead of my heavier shea concoction that has been my staple. The scent was pleasant. I purchased during a BOGO sale - I do find the regular price tag steep . Very doubtful I would buy without it being on sale . There are other brands comparable at half the price - I feel the packaging is heavy, and maybe that is part of the reason for the cost. Being 2 ounces was nice as so many drug store brands sell for the same amount or higher for 1 ounce..

Good sunscreen for the face.

I really like this product. It is mainly a moisturizer and a sunscreen. The best part about it is that it has a really pleasant smell. If you put it on under your makeup, put on thinly because it is a little oily. It doesn't take much to work. If you get it in your eyes, it will be uncomfortable. I like that it has 2.5oz. and it has two active ingredients, Ensulizole 1.7% and Octinoxate 7.5% which are a sunscreen. It is an expensive sunscreen but I really like how it makes my face look better.

It was the best but no longer available anywhere!!

Age Perfect SPF 15 day cream was the absolute best. I have been using this for many years and very disappointed to find it no longer available anywhere. I have been a staunch supporter of L'Oreal and recommended products to many people. I will no longer purchase these products - the collagen cream replacement is not the same - smell, texture, smoothness of application... very, very disappointed. Will purchase from other providers in the market.

L’Oréal Intense Nutrition Day & Night Cream

I love the dreamy light way this product melts on my skin. No need for an eye cream either, all of my face adores Intense Nutrition. I will use this product for years to come so please L’Oréal never take it off the market or change the recipe. I just love it ❤️

Unwelcome change

The formula has changed. I have used this for years and years, and when I saw that they'd changed it, am returning it. It was the best moisturizer with a very delicate fragrance in the past, do not want this changed. Will not purchase again, and will search for another 'perfect' moisturizer. I saw that they have added titanium dioxide, which would be harder to keep from showing on your skin.
