Bad pricing, great bright color
Wish cvs and loreal would make the earning extra buck value higher because of loreal products sold at cvs is more than the 4$ extra buck so that's like earn 2$ for something is that priced over 8$ which customers think its bullsht!. Feedback. Cvs and loreal should decide to make loreal hair color promotion a buy 2 get 8$ extra buck instead because of the price point. Loreal excellence preference feria and semi permanent should be sale 2 for 10$ buy 2 get 6 ecb. That's what customers agrees on. The semi permanent vivid color lines should also make an 8 oz tube priced at 14.79 at cvs and 9.98 at walmart. More size better price. The loreal blonde box dyes should all contain a 1 oz purple shampoo mask inside the box.... Show more

Buyer beware
I have been coloring my own hair for over 20 years. I've always gone with natural hair shades and decided to try purple. My experience with this product has turned me completely off all of L'Oreal products. My skin is stained just from where it ran down my shoulder and chest and stomach when I was rinsing it out in the shower. Some of the water got into my glove and stained my hand. It also would not come off the floor of my shower. I've never had that issue before. Even using permanent hair color, it's always just went down the drain with no stain. This completely covered my shower. I'm very thankful that I decided to get color remover wipes a couple of colorings ago, or I would be covered head to toe in this stuff. As it is now, my son keeps laughing at my purple ears. I've never had anything stain my shoulders as water ran down. I do love the color, and if it wasn't for the fact that I used about 60 or 70 color wipes getting as much of the staining off as I could both myself and the shower, I would probably recommend it wholeheartedly. but I was extremely afraid that just the act of walking from my bathroom into my bedroom would leave a trail of purple footprints. This is just awful. Like I said, I'm no stranger to coloring my hair. I use a barrier cream around my hairline and on my ears to make sure I don't have any staining, but as the water ran down my back and down the side of my face, it was left with stains. There was no staining around my hairline when I got in the shower, but when I got out it was there. This is the worst product I've ever used in my life, and I'm not just talking about beauty products or hair dye. I mean this is the absolute worst product ever that I've used.... Show more

Colorista Changed My Life!
I have used Color Rista now for several years and love it! I am a 66 year old widow and started coloring my hair on my 60th Birthday after moving from CA to TN and was going to be all alone without my husband who's BD is one day before mine.Instead of being alone and sad I got the idea to color my hair pink. My first time I went to a stylist to treat myself - and the pink that was BRIGHT not the soft pink I thought it would be at first shocked me but I ended up loving it at all stages.Since that time I've used colorista in Pink, in Orange, and the latest in Purple.Right now I'm in Metallic Orchid04 which I LOVE and so do people that I meet! Do not buy unless you want to paint your whole sho
The color came out gorgeous. Unfortunately everything else is now that color. My shower, except for my footprint next to the drain. My whole body. While I was washing it out, it stained my skin while it was coming down. I rinsed it for over 20 minutes trying to make sure I had everything out because it was hard to tell if the water was clear yet because everything else in my shower was a pink - purple hue. I got out of the shower and used about 60 color stain remover wipes. I washed my face, my ears, the back of my neck and shoulders to try to get everything off. We did the best we could and when I woke up the next morning, the color had bled all over my face again. My ears, my neck, my back again, and my bra turned pink on the inside. It was white. Great HairDye For Brunettes
I love this Colorista SemiPermanent Hair Dye for Brunettes. I have Medium Brien to Light Brown Hair and finally found something that holds and works for darker hair without having to bleach and strip my hair first. The Tangerine Irangey Red colour is great and blends in well with my natural hair colour. And I live the Green colour for fun. I also have the Blue. But when I first used it, I did as directed. But now I just put a small amount on the included brush and apply it to my roots and it penetrates better with using the small amount sparingly and brushing it into my roots. I don’t wash it out until a few days and that way it penetrates even more and will last for months. It’s a great product. I hope it’s not discontinued. It works great for my hair. The other ... Metallic Fuchsia is my new favorite
I've been dyeing my hair pink for 8 years, and this dye is probably the best I've ever used! Prior to trying L'Oreal's Metallic Fuchsia I had been using Iroiro's UV Pink and I found that, while this color is a little darker than I thought I'd like, the staying power is AMAZING. I bleached my roots & dyed over my faded pink hair in late October, it is now mid January and only a few spots in the back have begun to fade noticeably and while the rest is slightly lighter than it initially was, it's still incredibly vibrant. If it weren't for my roots growing in, I might not even touch it up. The color is beautiful, the application was easy, my hair felt soft and healthy after, and while the dye did stain my pillow, my skin and bathtub came clean after washing them and I ... I will definitely continue using this dye - for the price & the quality, I don't know why I'd try anything else.... Show more

Misleading and more than just a disappointment
This product does not wash out. I've read through L'Oreal's countless responses that it is "disappointing when a product doesn't work as expected" I'm sorry to say that it is a lot more than that. When so many reviews say the same thing it's not an isolated incident and the product itself is a failure.... let alone misleading. Hair is an important expression of a person's identity and when a product fails like this consumers are owed more than an "oh gee we're sorry this was unexpected use a dandruff shampoo." When hair is damaged a part of a person's identity is damaged. How many reviews does it take before L'oreal admits that this is an EXPECTED and VERY POSSIBLE outcome? You've clearly been told many many times. Pull the product or relable it!!!! I will not buy ... MoreThis product does not wash out. THRILLED!!
After reading so many negative reviews, I am THRILLED! I bought the semi permanent teal about three years ago, and left it sitting under my sink because I was too scared to try it. After years of wanting teal hair, I finally went to my stylist, and paid 130 for a cut and color. I was happy at first even though we applied it on my very dark hair. I did not want to spend more money on bleaching! The front gray parts were a lovely shade, but the darker hair sort of came out a cow patty green, and the front parts faded pretty quickly. I was not happy, and debated what to do for about a month. Wanting to save money, I bleached my hair at home. I should have used a lifter first probably, but I was impatient to have it done and scared what would happen to my hair after so ... MoreAfter reading so many negative reviews, I am THRILLED! I was not happy, and debated what to do for about a month. Wanting to save money, I bleached my hair at home. I should have used a lifter first probably, but I was impatient to have it done and scared what would happen to my hair after so much processing. I left the bleach on extra long, and ended up with variations on white, with orange undertones. I was kind of okay with it. I tried a professional teal dye, and while still wet, it was a perfect color. Then I shampooed it, as instructed, and most of it disappeared. I was shocked. I am a decades long home dyer, and that has never happened to me. I finally turned to my cupboard and got out this product. I was worried it would be too old to use, but I had done so much to my hair already, I said whatever and used it. I loved that it was simple to apply, no mixing, and I just did the whole thing in the shower. I knew the instructions were to not use on natural or dyed blond hair, but again, I am a risk taker, so I used it anyway. I COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY!! It is a gorgeous color, actually a couple of gorgeous colors because of the uneven bleaching results, but what a happy accident!! My husband teasingly calls it all green, and though some parts are green, the rest of it is a deep, saturated gorgeous teal, even the gray areas. I am the colors of the ocean! I did not wash my hair this time, just rinsed in cold water. I had washed my hair earlier, and applied on dry hair. The texture was a little crispy, but I used THE BEST CONDITIONER IVE EVER USED, Loreal Paris Superior Preference Care Supreme Color and Shine Conditioner, and with just a dime size amount, my crispy hair turned silky soft, and rinsed out beautifully clear! I have only found this conditioner in packages of their permanent color, and I have been eking out this tube for a long time, not wanting to say goodbye. I have not washed my hair yet, since using this product, fearing my hair would lose all its color, and that is why I am so thrilled at the negative reviews! I feel badly that other people were disappointed and unhappy, but for myself I am happy to hear it lasts a long time. I think I want to stay teal for the rest of my life, so this is very good news! On the down side, it did stain my skin in places, because I was in too much of a hurry to use the Vaseline as recommended, but it came right off with a witch hazel astringent. My shower is dye free. My shower mat has some staining, but I am hoping it will come out in the wash. If not, I figure it is a small price to pay for my dream hair. I am going to buy at least a couple more tubes so I do not run out! I still have some left over in the original tube, and that makes me happy too. Sorry for the very long review!... Show more

worst hair dye i have ever used
i think the title should do a fair bit of explaining for me. just to preface, i do want to say that if youre looking for the perfectly staining hair dye that leaves you with a beautiful barf green shade, then this is indeed the dye you are looking for. i actually found an old bottle of this lying around in my bathroom from 2-3 years ago and had the most intense flashback of my life; therefore, i felt that i should write the review that i never did when all went to hell. it all started with the purchase of a tube of the midnight blue color. after applying, i fell in love with the shade that it left on my medium brown hair and eventually its presence became a trademark on my locks, so i just ended up applying more and more. however, this may have been one of the worst ... Yellow + Blue = Green!
I love this colour blue. I mix it with a bit of clear colour extender to soften the blue as well as drop or 2 of one of the other shades of blue. My hair is short, curly and very light, naturally. I wash my hair with a colour fader a few times prior to applying the colour. Wearing plastic gloves I cover my entire head of hair and the end result is a gorgeous head of soft, almost pastel blue hair.If you mix yellow and blue, you get green. Hair has to be 'prepared' accordingly prior to adding more colour, just like for best results apply on clean hair. (Head and Shoulders is good too for removing a lot of colour.)The product is very good. It's not as harsh as some of the more expensive, professional semi-permanent products.
