I'm legitimately soooo excited about this - I've wanted one of these since they came out, but I just never bought one. They come in the same type of stand-out, clear packaging as similar L'Oréal lip products, but this formula is just a little bit different and unique. This lip balm is very sheer in color, and it is filled with tons of bronze/copper shimmer particles. Upon the lips, it looks very balmy and gentle. I love how it immediately looks almost transparent and careless - it's an entire aesthetic. This formula is so super-comfortable, one that you'll find yourself wanting to apply time and time again. This is alao a great 'purse lipstick', as a mirror isn't necessary for application. It is quite scented with an almost-fruity perfumed scent, but it smells ... Comfortable and richly pigmented
The delicately fragranced lipstick is housed in a beautiful gold coloured metal case which was exclusively designed by a female illustrator while the bullet is uniquely shaped to resemble a female silhouette and offers precise application so I did not need to use a seperate lip liner. The formula is enriched with argan oil and vitamin E to provide longlasting hydration, performing more like a nourishing lip balm than your typical satin finish lipstick. I love the intense pigmentation which provides full opacity in just one swipe and feels super lightweight. As with all satin finish lipsticks, it is not transfer proof but wears off evenly with average longevity of around four hours before reapplication is required. Hydration and color benefits
I received a sample and it's definitely a balm in a lipstick! The color payoff is actually amazing, and the formula is hydrating. You definitely feel the wear as it's a balm, and the consistency is thicker, but pleasant. I definitely thought I had kissable lips!! I hadn't ever tried a balm-lipstick product like this. There was way more color than I anticipated and the Peach Charm and it's not as orange as I thought— it looks flattering on my light skin tone, cool undertones, and I think it would be flattering on all skin tones. The product packaging is ok—mostly inexpensive looking. The product outweighs the packaging. It was hydrating and made my lips feel soft and silky, and even plump. I did need to reapply as it lasted about an hour. Overall, this is a great ... MoreI received a sample and it's definitely a balm in a lipstick! My favorite daily go-to, especially on no makeup days.
Age 50 - Oily/Combo Skin: I'm not going to deny that this balm has a scent, but it evaporates quickly. If you're looking for a full color, full coverage lipstick, then this isn't it. But... I use these balms nearly every day because they offer a lovely hint of sheer color that can be worn alone or over other lip products. It's a perfect lip product for natural, no- or low-makeup day. Mulberry Bliss has been my absolute favorite color for daily wear for months, but now that summer is closing in, I find myself reaching for brighter colors.... Show more

Natural shade, smooth feel, moisturizing
I would definitely consider this lipstick to have a "balm" feel to it - it's not drying to my lips but, rather feels creamy and moisturizing, which is very unusual for a lipstick. I don't feel the need to lick my lips when wearing it or to add other layers of products to it.I wouldn't call it a glossy finish, but it's not matte either; it's got this "in-between" kind of feel. I don't think you would be able to successfully add a lip gloss layer to it without it smearing, so if you're going for a high-gloss look, then skip this product. Likewise, if you want a very matte look, this will not meet your needs. But it has a beautiful finish that's kind of luscious and smooth in nature.I wouldn't call it long-wear, but it can certainly last a couple hours, which is ... It's not a true nude, but it's not a dark pink. It brightens up the face if not wearing any other makeup but wanting some kind of special touch, and it also adds great subtle color to a full face of makeup. It's the PERFECT shade for me and the "natural" look I typically desire, so this is likely a product I will make a staple in my makeup routine and continue to purchase over a long period of time. Highly recommend.... Show more

Not a balm lipstick
Color #110 Pastel Exaltation is a very pretty peachy pink nude. But consistency & feel is awful. It slides around on your lips, and never really settles. Very hard to place properly even with lip liner, and no way to build up color at all. It's not even as moisturizing as their Colour Riche line, which I usually like. Keep the color, but formula on this one is a real flop!! Not even moist enough to use as a quick one & done casual daytime balm. Pass on this one...... Show more

Not what I expected
The taste and smell are so bad that it's not possible to avoid, like cheap plastic and chemicals. The previous comment is about the product appearing used. In my case the top opened and it smeared everywhere. I bought 2 and both colors have low pigmentation and fade rapidly. They are drying and chapped my lips. I typically use Clinique and wanted to try this product due to the high reviews and comparison to more expensive products. Waste of money. I asked Ulta not to replace damaged item because it's going in the garbage. Never hated a product this much.... Show more

Overall a nice lipstick
Overall this is a really nice lipstick, the colour is very vibrant and there is alot of pigment, it gave my lips a really lovely purple colour. The only issue I have is the tip of the lipstick is shaped differently to other lipsticks, it looks very pretty when first opening but the shape made it difficult to apply the lipstick around the edges of my lips. I would say if you are thinking of buying this lipstick it would be best to purchase a lipliner in the same colour just to minimise any bleeding and stop the lipstick spreading around the lips. On a positive note the scent was nice, it doesn't smell plasticity like some other lipsticks and the formula is really creamy.... Show more

Perfect Color& Goes On Creamy
This review is for Mulberry Bliss: This is a very pretty color. It’s between a pink and mauve and more pigmented pomegranate. It goes on easily and you can keep it subtle (color top lips & rub top & bottom lips together) or more noticeable. I’m sure if you used a liner it would pop even more if that was the look you desired. It’s very creamy, but not glossy/shiny like lipgloss & not matte. It’s perfect for color & hydrating without having to use a colored chapstick.... Show more
