This is a great product, it is the only one I have found that is rated over 11, which means it is alot lighter. I also love the tube of conditioner that comes in the pack, it leaves my hair so soft, and there is enough to use it once a week until my next application of the dye. I do use a silver toner a day or 2 later to get rid of the small amount of yellow and a violet shampoo to keep it looking nice, I highly recommend this product

I normally get my hair colored at a salon, but I couldn't get an appointment so I checked out the range of blondes in the LOREAL PARIS PREFERENCE, I went for an ultralight pearl blonde that worked beautifully, it blended nicely with the other tones in my hair, covered ALL of my greys and left my hair a beautiful pearl blonde. I'm so glad I tried this , I'm hooked......No more $250.00 hair salon trips for color. I love this shade and it's a great price. The conditioner smells divine and my hair was silky soft. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I bought this after my hair was on the ashy side after a recent hair dresser appointment and although it was lovely i wanted a brighter blonde so i gave this a go. I applied it from the bottle onto a paddle brush to give a more natural effect and it worked wonderfully, in places my natural hair was darker it did have a yellow/orange tint i used purple shampoo a couple times and its gone s beautiful blonde shade. Will always use this now inbetween hair appointments to keep the colour lovely and bright

I bought this a few days ago from my local store in Wetherby, and tried it out. I naturally have blonde hair but wanted to go blonder. I followed all instructions and IT TURNED MY HAIR BRIGHT ORANGE. It looks miles different from the packet and no where on the packet does it say this will/might happen. I'm so so disappointed and upset. Regretfully I wasted £12 on these L'Oreal hair products, which is so upsetting as I work hard for my money. But the most upsetting part is that I will be having to spend £62 at a salon to try and fix this embarrassing mess. Never normally write bad reviews but I felt so upset and disappointed wit this that I didn't want anyone else to buy it and waste lots of hard earned money.
I have used this colour a number of times and really happy with final colour and grey coverage. BUT this time the formula is different. It went on like water and I am now here waiting for time to be up with a tissue mopping up the drips. Yet to find out if the colour is going to work this time or not. Product needs to be creamier to cling to hair and not run off. Saying that it is normally my fav go to hair colour
I have natural medium blond hair and I wanted to go an icy blond. I bought this thinking I would go a icy/white colours. It didn’t go well. My hair is now a bright yellow colour I’m so disappointed as it’s my first time dying it. I’m now going to have to try and get a purple shampoo to get the yellow tones out. Do not buy.
I'm really impressed with this colour. I have white grey rearing its head., which ages me terribly. This colour makes my hair look healthier, fuller, and the colour extender keeps it looking fresh right up to it's next colour. I can't say enough about the conditioning treatment that's included. It is simply the most astonishing product. I wish I could purchase it separately to use with every wash. Def a 5/5 from me.
Before using this I had put a natural ash blonde through my hair which went very grey toned. But this washed out very fast to a yellow dull blonde colour and I had quite dark/medium brown roots. Buying this I just thought it would lighten my already blonde hair and therefore bought no toner for my roots. But the result actually made my roots a very pale yellow (which was fixed after toning once and using purple shampoo) and the rest a very ash light blonde. Not the colour on the box but close. I am very impressed with this dye and will be buying again as it gave me the exact results I needed. Definitely recommend to anyone with already bleached hair looking to whiten and create more ashy tones.
I’ve been trying to find the perfect colour to hide the greys In my hair. Most of the colours I’ve tried the greys seem to reappear very quickly, especially around the hairline. This colour from L’Oreal Preference seems to blend the greys really well and makes my colour last for longer.
I was dying my naturally dark blonde hair up, and had already gone up to a natural light blonde with no orange in sight when I applied this product. Somehow it actually put orange ON my hair. I don't have as many orange tones as this dye produced! I have been dying my hair for 30 years and can honestly say this is the worst product I ever used it's worse than Sun-in from the 90's! I can only describe the result as pure Ed Sheran, never seen anything so orange in my life. Happily I had some Colour Freedom Metalic Glory Silver Blonde, and this made it a really stunning ACTUAL blonde or I wouldn't have been able to leave the house!If you want orange hair, go ahead, otherwise there are loads of other better products to make your hair blonde.
