L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Filler Ampoules

To start of: I thought I had pretty good skin. I was however very keen to start trialing the L'Oréal's Revitalift Ampoules as I have been guilty of long hot showers and not drinking enough water! My face was a little bit dehydrated (or so I thought...….its was actually very dehydrated). I decided to use the ampoules at night because I did not want to have to put make up over it as I wasn't sure how it would sit on top of this product. After cleansing I broke open one of the plastic ampoules and spread it over my face and neck and décolletage. It is transparent and has a gel like texture. There is so much product, I thought it would never absorb into my skin...….again I was wrong. It absorbed fully after about a minute and though it felt a bit sticky, after 5 minutes that was completely gone and I applied my night cream as usual. WOW!! The next day my skin looked and felt amazing! It was plump and my lines around my eyes looked less noticeable. I was so surprised at the transformation I kept staring at my skin! I did not even realize how dehydrated my skin was after I saw the results the next morning! I had a nice glow and my skin felt so soft. I was excited to see how I would look after 7 days of using the ampoules. It did improve every day, but by the 5th day I thought I could no longer see any more improvements! I guess I was all plumped out by then! This really is a great product to use if you are leading up to a special event or to get your skin back on track after a long haul flight or even just combating the drying effects of winter. It is very pricey and I will only buy this for a special occasion. I did feel that 7 days might be a bit of a overkill and would be more likely to repurchase if it came in a 3-day "pick-up" pack, but that's only me...…nothing stopping you from buying the 7 day treatment and then just using 3 or 4 ampoules at a time and keeping the rest for later. I would have loved to see it a bit cheaper too, but it definitely delivers on its promises. A great product and I would give it 5 stars if only it wasn't so pricey. The results will astound you and I would definitely recommend this product!

However I will definitely repurchase and keep in my stash for when I'm feeling and looking a little run down - which is not hard with this weather!

Within 4 to 5 days of using the serum within the ampoules my skin just looked as perfect as it could possibly get (without surgery, Botox or fillers), for once I had no spots, just smooth, even, glowing, younger looking, more radiant skin. Within those days I had the kind of skin where I was more than happy to go out without makeup on, & much to my delight, I even had people come up & tell me how lovely my skin was (I honestly felt like skipping, if I could skip that is lol). The product is so easy to use and to incorporate into your routine, the only downside I could find is that I could imagine getting hooked on it, and instead of it being used as a treat for special occasions, wanting to buy it and use it all the time to keep my skin looking it’s optimal best. It’s taking all my willpower to keep the ampoules reserved for special occasions, to give me lots of confidence when I need it the most. Lastly, I just want to note that the ampoules were the only thing that I changed in my routine, for the purpose of reviewing them. In truth, I didn’t use other products within the Revitalift range, as I’d run out. I did however use other anti-aging creams from other brands, over the top of the ampoules. Which now has me wondering how much better the results would have been if I had of used the full Revitalift plumping range, maybe I’d have looked 15 yrs younger instead of 10 yrs younger? Hmmm, I think I’m going to have to find out, now when’s my next special occasion?

Otherwise I would be tempted to use one ampoule once or twice a week as a single, intense treatment. \n\nThis would certainly be a more cost effective solution. My one gripe with the product would be the price point. It definitely falls into the category of a 'treat' treatment, rather than something I would use on a regular basis. However, if I do lash out and purchase the product at some stage in the future, I would do so knowing that I was buying a quality product that definitely delivers results.\n

This packaging also means I can take a few ampoules with me on holiday when my skin needs a hydrating boost! The serum inside isn't too thick or runny; it has a good, lightweight consistency that absorbs well into the skin, leaving no heavy, sticky or greasy residue. To all the people saying they used it every day for a week. It literally says in the description use one capsule a week for 7 weeks, not 7 days!! This is why you aren't achieving the desired results. What a waste of product slapping it on like that every day. My skin looks amazing after using these never looked so healthy and glowing!! Give it another go and you will change your mind after using it correctly.

Plumping without the needles

This intensive treatment set is the cheapest way to achieve nice plump skin without needles. It comes with sufficient product to get two uses out of each ampoule. After using this, my skin looked incredibly hydrated and plump. It improved the appearance of fine lines on my skin and gave me a glow. This is prefect to deal with the effect of the winter on my skin. I especially like that this can often be purchased on sale, making it very affordable. Overall, I highly recommend this intensive treatment.
