Everything that is listed on this card is accurate as I will be describing. My first impression of these colored ink's was that they were extremely soft on the lips that it felt like nothing was there! With the precise designed applicator, you are able to get into the fine lines of your lips which I loved because it makes it quick and easy to apply when your on the go. The shade range that was delivered to me where shades that you could easily use for everyday wear. The first day I received this box, I instantly wore the shade "I rule" which is a deeper nude that looked beautiful on the lip. When applied with a nude lip liner, the color blended right in with my natural lip color that I couldn't even tell I had it on. As a side note, I have extremely pale skin and these colors worked just well with me and I feel like anyone with a deeper complexion would absolutely adore it as well. At work I was able to test how well this product lasted, and was able to find that a lot of it transferred over when I was drinking my water. I found that by the end of the night (a 5 hour shift) the lip ink had left a stain, as they mentioned on the info card on my lips which I didn't mind. These colors sink into your lips for that everlasting, natural look (except for the red shade). Out of all three colors my favorite was "I create" which is the perfect nude that I've always been searching for where it gives that pale color to my lips when wearing a bold eye. I will definitely be wearing this color more often and am so glad that I was able to add it to my collection. As for "I am worth it" I did enjoy this color red but I felt that I had to keep re-applying it for it to get it's highest pigment because of the way it dried down. I didn't find anything wrong with that, only that I liked the color when it was very first applied on the lips. I tested all three lip inks to see if they were transfer proof and I would say that you'd have to wait for them to dry down completely for about a minute or so, otherwise they will easily smudge. "I am worth it" when rubbed a bit will definitely smudge even when dry which I find to be common with red lips. Overall, I would approve of these lip colors and the formula of them all as well as the packaging but would just suggest to users to bring the color their wearing along with them for reapplying through out the night! #Promotion #LOrealMakeup #RougeSignature... It's sort of flat which creates a really nice point that makes drawing out your lip line really easy. And the formula is quite thin so it doesn't feel or look cakey and heavy on your lips and it dries in appropriate time (it doesn't dry as you're applying, will be dry within a minute of application) I didn't find the dryness to be too uncomfortable. I've experienced mattes that have been both better and worse so I think it falls into that expected middle ground. \nI tried out three colours: 'I Rule' - purple, 'I Am Worth It' - red and 'I Empower' - nude. 'I Rule' was the purple mauve colour. Being really fair, it didn't really flatter my skin, but it would look amazing and pop really well on darker skin tones. 'I Am Worth It' looks like a very burnt orange red and I was sort of nervous about that colour, but when I took out and put it on it was actually a really lovely cool toned blue red that would suit every skin tone. The pigment in these two purple and red colours was pretty good. It wasn't patchy or streaky when applying and there were only a couple of really tiny spaces that need a little bit extra as I was putting it on. 'I Empower' is a classic nude. I thought it would like concealer on me, but it actually looked pretty decent on. The pigment on this one isn't as good as the other two. It looks like a sheer nude tint, and you definitely need to let it dry and then apply another coat to get that fuller coverage. I am sucker for a natural pink so I mixed both the red and the nude together and made a really beautiful rosy colour.\nUnfortunately, it transfers a lot. I tried to combat this by blotting with a tissue after it had tried, but it just kept coming off. Normally, a matte lipstick will transfer some residue and then it wouldn't leave any marks after those first few contacts, but even an hour later I could run my fingers along my lips and a significant amount of pigment would be left on my finger. Because of this, I found the colours didn't really last very long, especially the nude colour. You'll will have to reapply every time you eat and sip. \nIt ticks off every box except for staying on and lasting. If you're looking for a beautiful colour and want a simple and precise application, this is the liquid lipstick for you.\n... Show more

My initial impression of the L'Oreal Rouge Signature Lipstick was that the packaging felt and looked luxurious, & could happily compete with high-end brands. On opening the lipstick, I noticed that the applicator was very different, in that it's rather flat & angular, which offers fantastic precision application for lining the lips, and the flat applicator can hold a lot of product, which is great for filling the lips in. Upon application, and by following the product instructions of lining the bow of the lips and then the natural lip line, before filling in the lips, I found that I had no need for a lip pencil, yet my lips looked as though they had been precisely lined. I then noted that there was a slight, rather nice, tingling sensation, as I was filling in my lips. When I'd finished applying the lipstick, I was able to appreciate that it was semi-matte & absolutely true to colour, with a 'light as air' feel and was super long lasting. Unlike other long lasting lip products that I've tried, this product doesn't dry out your lips, for a long time my lips felt moisturised & barely like there was anything on them. This product definitely 'stays put' and does not bleed, which is great for those of us who find that our lippies seems to come off within an hour of application, or after just one drink or meal. Also a fantastic find for those whose lip products bleed out of their natural lip line, or into fine lines & wrinkles. I honestly felt my lips truly looked lush, moisturised & kissable. The product wasn't too hard to remove for such a hardy lipstick, it came off after using two different cleansers, which is what I expected for such a long lasting great product. I think this lipstick would make a great gift, to ladies of all ages, especially those who have trouble finding lip sticks & glosses to last a whole day/night, or who have trouble with lipsticks that bleed. The lipstick feels full of contradictions, in that it is more like a gloss in appearance, yet acts more like a stain, but is moisturising. I would honestly say this is one of the best lip products I have ever tried. It's like an all in one product, in that it lines the lips, offers great cover & colour, it moisturises, last hours, whist really makes those lips pop! All I can say is well done L'Oreal!!... They go the lips smoothly and since they take a little while to set to a matte finish, you can easily smudge it out for a gradient lip look. For me, I personally love mixing the colours! Since the nude-y beige 110 I EMPOWER is a little light on me, I love using it as a base colour then pop the red or purple-ish pink shade in the center of the lips. Even though this is a matte liquid lipstick, it didn't feel very drying even on my sensitive lips. The name lip ink is definitely accurate because once the lip ink faded, the brighter colours left a stain on the lips (which I love). They are affordable and there are 12 shades in the Rouge Signature lip Ink range, so I'm sure you'll be able to find a shade that suits you.\n\nThe cons:\nThe lighter nude-y beige 110 I EMPOWER shade goes on a little streaky on the lips but I didn't have any issues with the other 2 shades. Since it is a matte lip ink, it does settle a little into the fine lines on my lips. It definitely looks better on when I've exfoliated and moisturised before hand. I wore them to work and realised that the lip ink spreads outside of my lip line making the whole look messy by the end of my morning (which is why I docked a star from my ratings), and it definitely still transfers even after it sets into the matte finish. So you definitely need to use a lip liner to keep the lip ink in the lips and if you are a fan of matte lipsticks that dries down and doesn't transfer, this is not the product for you.\n\nAll in all, I actually really enjoyed them! I think this is another lovely lip collection that Loreal launched, I am a fan of most of their lip products. If you like lip stains and love a matte finish, definitely give them a go.\n... Show more

I have very mixed emotions about this product. The colour pay off is amazing. It is an ‘ink’ formula so it has all the colour pay off and pigment of a thick liquid lip but it is a very thin liquid formula definitely not a cream. Very comfortable to wear on its own but this is where my issues with the formula come in. It claims to be budge, sweat and waterproof but once it is fully dried on the lips it starts to smudge and transfer. For me where my bottom lip curves over and slightly touches under my lip it rubs and transfers and leaves me looking like I’ve just made out with a red sharpie. Also when drinking if you get the liquid on any outer portions of your lips the water carries the colour so if you spill on yourself you will be left with red drips. However if ... However if you set it with a translucent powder then it is truly everything proof. It’s a shame as it’s a perfect red and only one coat needed to no extra product wasted to get the colour pay off but it feels awful when set if you want to avoid messy clown lips. After about 30 min my lips get dry and chapped, just down right uncomfortable. This isn’t what I’d expect from a £9.99 drugstore lipstick as the maybelline super stay matte 24hr liquid lip (rectangle packaging) does all of this for the same price and better only thing is the formula is thicker but it doesn’t budge so when there are products like this already and much better it is a shame for loreal to have brought out an almost flawless product with one huge flaw. Over all colour is amazing but not worth the hassle.... Show more

L’Oreal have brought this range within 2-3 months of its US release and priced it very competitively. This lipstick is a thin, watery , ultra-light formula which doesnt cake-up or feel heavy. Despite its watery thin formula which is unlike any other liquid lipstick (drugstore), it is non-streaky and gives full opacity. Takes some time to dry down to a soft matte finish. My review is specifically for the two shades - I Choose I Play and my review as I believe some of the other shades leave a stain and are much longer lasting. For this interested, these are “Made in China” like most L’oreal Products available in India. 1. Non-sticky. Feels feather light on the lips. 2. Watery thin but gives full opacity 3. Best lip product i have ever tried
This genuinely stays on all day, doesn’t smudge or fade, it’s just perfect. Better than a lot of more high end liquid lipsticks. The shape of the application brush also allows for easy application, following the shape of your lips in a flattering way. (There is a rounded side and a more pointed side, and the brush is also angled at 45 degrees) The best way to use this product is to slide the brush along the rim of the container as you take it out, to remove excess, so you can apply a nice even layer. Then swipe it across your bottom lip once, and use your finger to blend it out so it covers your whole lips. If the layer is thin, the pigment will not build up in your lips’ textured surface. If you need to add moisture to your lips (as liquid lipstick can be drying) then i would suggest tapping vaseline into the centre of your bottom lip. Do not apply it near the edges, as it will cause the liquid lipstick to bleed and create a fuzzy outline. You can also use this product as a blush, as it blends out very easily before it dries. As it is very strongly pigmented, i would suggest just dabbing a tiny spot of it on the cheekbone and then using a finger to blend it out. Overall, i would highly recommend!... Show more

Nice application but frequent top up needed
I have bought this in shade i empower looking for the perfect nude shade. The colour was nice, and goes on well. The point tip to the applicator really helps to get a nice defined line. The problem i had was the colour payoff is light and needs additional layers to be built up for an opaque finish. It dries to matte finish but you do get alot of transfer even after drying meaning colour fades and you have to top up.... Show more

Hello, it'd be so helpful if reviewers could mention WHICH SHADE you tried. I was looking at reviews here to find out which shades of Rouge Signature are the longest-lasting. I tried the glossy version and they didn't last more than an hour. Of the matt versions, I've used I DON'T for over a year and it's an incredible, zingy shade of orange-y bright red. Suits my skin tone and it lasts for hours. Great, 5 stars. I also like I LEAD which is more subtle, more of a brick red-brown. It's great for work, also 5 stars for colour and longevity. But pretty much all the others I've tried make the lips go bright pink, regardless of the colour on the tube or the initial liquid. Which shades worked best for you?
