Who knew there was such a thing as metal build up in our hair?!Having been using L'Oreals Metal Detox Mask, I have noticed that my highlighted hair is feeling cleaner and not as dry. I did 2 washes of the shampoo, as this is what my hairdresser always tells me I should be doing! A little product goes a long way. My hair still has a nice blonde shine to it and I feel this highlighted colour is protected using this shampoo.There's plenty of product to do lots of self-care days and I'm excited to see the condition of my hair after using this regularly. It feels like a hairdressers 'wash & condition' that I did at home for a fraction of the price! The packaging is very simple but very professional and has that 'hairdressers feel' to it. Lovely smelling shampoo, if not a little lemony scent but without being overpowering.

I'm grateful to receive this product as part of the reviewcrew. It took a while to arrive in the post, so I haven't trialled it for as long as I would like to give a thorough review. Having said that, from a few washes I can already tell using this product in conjunction with the accompanying mask has given me nice results. I have fine dark blonde hair with bleached highlights and balayage. After the first use my colour appeared brighter and more vibrant, and even less brassy even though this isn't a purple toning shampoo.During the washing process, my hair felt really soft and didn't get tangled as it sometimes can during shampooing. The shampoo lathers up well and is easy to distribute through the scalp for an even cleanse.I tend to get oilier roots and dry ends and I found that this didn't do much to combat or help this, but it doesn't claim to. Though straight after washing, it did feel fresh and clean and as though any product build up had gone.For the price, I may have not bought both of the products in the range together first without being able to try them, but I would continue to use this product as a treatment every so often to keep my hair and colour feeling and looking healthy in conjunction with a different shampoo and conditioner to address my other concerns.On a separate note to the production team, my shampoo bottle didn't have english directions on the outer layer of the label, they were behind the outer layer. Normally, this would be fine to peel back and read, but the whole label had a heavier plastic coating on it that extended past the label edge so I wasn't able to peel back the label instructions without pulling off the entire label coating that extended around the front of the bottle. While not a huge deal, it would be nice to have this more user friendly without having to damage the labelling, as then it doesn't look nice on display in your shower.

I only needed a small amount as a little really does go a long way. The shampoo seems to have good quality concentrated ingredients as it foams up well. This shampoo passed the test. My hair felt soft and clean and looked shiny and healthy and didn’t feel oily at all. The shampoo can help with stopping breakage so I will continue to use it and hope to see continued improvement.I can see myself continuing to use this product and can confidently recommend for other to give it a try.
