All-in-one
L'oreal did their research and their homework. I was totally unprepared for the effectiveness of this L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation in Shade Medium Deep, C7!!!!. I try every product bare and palin without support products (primer, foundations, base, etc.) and see what I may need to do/add to get optimal usage of the product. I put this foundation on with NOTHING else under it and was astounded by the lightness of the formula and the SUPERBLY easy blend. As I began to build, I realized , I did not need to. My additional makeup went on better than usual, blended in with minimal effort and presented as if I had put on primer and more than one application of product. No highilighter needed!!!!!!! Fast forward to eight hours later... I'm still ... MoreL'oreal did their research and their homework. AWESOME PRODUCT
I was a little sketchy about this product because I use the powder, which doesn't give full coverage, but gives great coverage still. I got a C7 and I didn't realize that I normally get C6, but being that it is winter, my skin color changes. The C7 was PERFECT. It blended so well and gives medium coverage but builds to full coverage if you continue to apply evenly. It makes my skin look amazing. And the PUMP!! One of my favorite things about it because I don't like to have to pour my product onto my sponge. That was such a great improvement. I would definitely buy this product and I'd definitely recommend it to friends and family. I've actually gotten a lot of compliments on my skin while using this product. I love it!!... Show more

Better formula!
I have been using L'Oréal True Match since 2007 because they offer Cool and Neutral undertones. My most purchased True Match items are the various concealers and the powder. I have used the foundation many times but have not in a few years. I was able to receive a tester version of the new formula of the True Match Foundation in my shade C7. I first tried it without a primer and them with a primer. I prefer it without the primer. It blends so easily and dries down to a natural finish. I then finished it with my True Match powder very lightly with a kabuki brush. The new True Match foundation somehow feel lighter on my skin. I did have to blot half way through the day because my skin type is oily. But my foundation stayed intact and did not deteriorate. I am really ... Foundation C7
So this review is a bit difficult to write due to difficulty reviewing the product. As it is winter and this shade would be 1. better suited for my skin tone in summer and 2. attempting to find a way to make it work in a makeup routine anyway possible. I currently use the L'Oreal tinted moisturizer which I love and is super great for color and spreads easily, because duh it's moisturizer. When first using the L'Oreal foundation it barely would spread, was thick, and obviously not the right color. I tried contouring along with the foundation first and it was not blend-able. Next I tried using the foundation as contour because of it being the wrong shade and since it didn't spread/move the first time I thought I could reverse blend it in. That didn't work. L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundatio
I love wearing makeup. I love to freshen up my appearance with new beauty & makeup trends. I love the brand L'Oreal Paris. I use their skincare/makeup products & they work out great for my skin. L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation in the shade of cool medium deep, that also has a pump now, that is very blendable with a natural even look in cool medium tan. Contains 6 pigments with a medium coverage. Matches my skin undertone & looks natural. Contains no alcohol, fragrance, oils. Goes on smoothly. Nice tan color, which is what i like & matches my skintone. I like a medium tan coverage. This blendable foundation looks & feels great on my skin with no dryness or irritation. L'Oreal Paris is a high quality brand with great lasting results.... Show more

New formulation is awful
New formulation is awful. I used to love this foundation. I recently ran out of my old L’Oréal foundation and had to purchase this new reformulation. It’s such a downgrade! The old one used to blend beautifully on my skin and lasted all day. This one sits on top of my skin and looks horrible over any type of sunscreen. The old one used to have SPF 17. This new one doesn’t say anything about spf. Disappointed that I’ll have to find a new foundation. It was also harder to get a good color match. The shade difference between w6.5 and w7 is crazy. I used to be able to use w6 in the winter and w7 in the summer but somehow 6 is way too light for me now and 7 is too dark. You’d think 6.5 would be perfect right? Wrong, still way too light somehow.... Show more

Shade N3
Recently videos of this foundation has surfaced because Loreal redid the packaging with a pump bottle. It also has a good reputation for being an amazing drug store foundation and I decided to give it a try. I don't have a big issue with shade matching and this foundation is supposed to take the stress out of that task - I feel the claim of it being a true match is accurate. I have also analyzed the ingredients at the time of purchase (February 2023) and it is currently free of potential acne inducing ingredients. This foundation applies well and lasts pretty well but it will not replace my current favorite foundation and sadly, I actually don't wish to use it in the future. The reason being is that makeup can be personal and my go-to foundation does a really good ... Whenever I'm wearing this foundation I see texture and the final result doesn't compare to what I usually get with my other foundation.... Show more

Surprised with a lot breakouts!
I was so excited to try this again with the new formula, because I usually like foundations with a pump, but I think I'll just get back to my Maybeline Poreless. After one week of wearing it:- Lightweight, but may leave streaks, so doesn't apply too good with a brush.- Feels very runny and powdery (needs a good base to apply smoothly)- SHOCKINGLY gave me breakouts! I thought it might have been face cream or some other factor, but it clogged me even with acne-preventing primer, that usually works so well with other foundations. It is really surprising because the product is supposed to be non-clogging.- I am glad I went with the advice of the Ulta staff and picked a colour one shade darker than usual, because they look very pale and flat on the skin. Still, I ... The SPF in the old formulas was not protecting your skin.
It makes me cringe so hard when people are upset about the lack of SPF.From a chemist: in order to get labeled SPF protection, you must use 2mgs per square centimeter of skin area. That equals about 1/4 teaspoon of the makeup for the average face. No one can apply that much foundation without looking crazy. It would he a thick mask. The old formula only had around spf 17, if I recall. You would get only a tiny percentage of that protection from a typical makeup application. You cannot rely on foundation to prevent premature aging or skin cancer. This new formula has a very similar ingredient list to the original, and I like this new formula just as much. Please wear sunscreen under your foundation if sun protection is important to you.... VERY DISAPPOINTED
I have been using this Foundation for 10 years, 10 YEARS!! And now I learn the the major advantages to both the formula and packaging have been altered. As the other reviewers commented, the SPF was removed, WHY in the world would you do that when the sun continues to cause major skin issues??? It was A MAJOR PLUS that the foundation contained SPF. Additionally, the new packaging is not convenient or an improvement. As someone stated it sqirts the foundation out and takes away the ability to control the amount youre getting. The company is starting to cut corners and instead of improving the product (which I did not see a need for anyways) they have worsened what worked very well. BRING BACK THE OLD FORMULA AND PACKAGING!! otherwise we will be forced to look ... MoreI have been using this Foundation for 10 years, 10 YEARS!!
