La Mer - The Lifting Eye Serum (15ml/0.5oz)

I can't say enough good things about Beauty Affairs. I've been a loyal customer now for about three years and can't fault their delivery - it feels like I get VIP Express Post when I just make a regular order. I (now) do a lot of online shopping across the board (clothes, shoes, beauty, etc.) and Beauty Affairs stand out from every other vendor I have shopped with throughout COVID as fast, reliable, and essentially flawless in their supply chain when even the previously-good-ones have slowly fallen victim throughout 2021 to COVID disruptions and delays. Whatever they're doing, it works! I will only shop elsewhere for beauty, cosmetics, and perfume on the odd occasion they don't stock a brand I want, but apart from that, I say: MECCA, who? Sephora, what? ^.^

I have always loved the fast service of Beauty Affairs with free samples with my orders. Last month my shampoo bottle broke in the post and leaked everywhere. When I advised Beauty Affairs they sent a new bottle straight away free of charge. Unfortunately this order did not arrive so when I advised them of this Anna at Client Care sent me a new bottle straight away but along with this she also sent me the matching conditioner, and my favourite full cleanser to say sorry. I have not experienced such amazing customer service in a long time. I’ve always had amazing service from Beauty Affairs and will not buy my beauty products anywhere else

I've shopped at Beauty Affairs for a few years now without a problem, however last week my package was stolen- at the fault of the courier. I purchased around $200+ of skincare and was completely devastated when it happened, as I didn't think I would be able to get it resent or refunded because it wasn't Beauty Affair’s fault. I contacted them and to my surprise, they immediately offered to resend or refund my purchase, not only that but they included a gift! I have never had such exceptional customer service from any other company in my whole life! I had a very good experience with Lorena from customer support. I was querying the cost of Youngblood mineral makeup on live chat (excellent product by the way) of which I had bought 2. The cost of the item displayed for sale appeared less than the final checkout price. It turned out the sale price was for a particular color but this was unclear on the page. Lorena looked into the discrepancy immediately and after explaining the reason, offed to give me a refund on that particular sale to compensate for the confusion. She was polite and considerate throughout. It’s good to know that such a fabulous Aussie company has such lovely staff!

An expensive extra layer BUT WORTH IT.

The La Mer eye care system works better than anything I've ever bought before, especially when you use this eye lifting serum before your usual eye cream. I thought my eye concentrate alone was good enough but since I've been using this, it's just so much better. My eyes don't just look brighter and less puffy, they now FEEL brighter, more open and above all, tighter. The wand is everything in this process. Be sure to use it after tapping for sweeping and circling and don't forget to use it to "lift" along your entire brow line. This serum is like a good night's sleep in a jar. I can't go back after using this. Curse you La Mer for breaking my bank account!

Beautiful product

I’m a fan of La Mer eye creams but had not previously tried the serum. It’s a great product and pairs nicely with the eye cream. I can feel my skin tightening and the applicator provides a cooling sensation which is welcome in the mornings. Cosmetically elegant product in lovely packaging. The dropper is easy to use too which prevents waste

Disappointing

I used the concentrate on a large plastic surgery scar during healing as soon as I could put anything on it, and it worked phenomenally! The scar is practically invisible where there should have been a substantial thick purple line. I had such high hopes this would have good results as well. It felt very silky and hydrating but after 8 months of consistent twice a day use, there was no change. Not very little, absolutely no change. I was not expect miracles, I have regular fine lines and thinness around the eye area that comes with age, but at 46 with a meticulous skin care routine I was surprised this did nothing. My lines actually deepened by not using adequate skin care for almost a year. Unfortunately this did nothing for my normal skin.

Lifting

I have been using this product since 2017 I reckon. Bought La Mer products in one of my travels. Let me tell you, when it says “lifting” truly lifting!!! I never really felt any difference using it, but there was this time I was crying all day. I have this asian puffy eyelid and the crying just made it worse. Applied this on my night routine, and wow, literally wow I physically felt my eyelid being lifted. Sounds unbelievable, but true. I am not that person who leaves reviews, couldn’t be bothered to be honest. Anyway, the only concern I have with this one is that it doesn’t blend on the skin especially when you apply make up. OMG - MAGICAL

I accidentally picked up the firming eye serum in Duty Free thinking it was Face Serum. OMG - when I got home and used it I dont know how I have lived without it. My smile lines and whole entire temple area lifts with this serum. Truly unbelievable. Run dont walk!!! I can't wait for the firming counter face serum to be available I will be buying that also.
