La Mer The Lip Volumizer, 7 ml

PROS: Right from my first application I could see a visible yet still subtle difference- enhanced overall appearance of my lips made them look a little more ‘pillowy’ which is great. I also like the feel overall consistency as well, it’s light feels like applying a light coat of gloss without any sensations such as stinging common to these types of products. It’s also moisturizing versatile can be worn alone or with something else. It has a light pink pearlescent hue that should probably look good with all skin types offering a subtle natural looking glow making lips look healthy. After paying $85.00 for just 7 mL of product, they could have done a little better on that end. Plus, I find that I need to reapply often - doesn’t last long.I do use it regularly will do so until it’s gone but will not be replacing feeling that other products like lip balms from Omorovicza Dr. Sebagh as well as the lip products offered by both Dior YSL offer more plump, better performance benefits for less money (although still pricey) of course, brands like Grande Lips, too faced LAWLESS also have nice options at an even lower price. Overall, if you’re a fan of the brand, curious are able to purchase then I would recommend giving it a chance AFTER possibly first trying the La Mer Lip Balm which I prefer.

Great lip gloss. Very pleasant on lips, lays evenly, great moisturizer. Wears very well, no white rim or clumps. I love this lip serum so much. It’s texture is great and I love that it doesn’t have a weird taste. Perfect color. I’m able to wear it daily or dress it up. Super happy.

Does anyone need a $75 lip gloss? No. But if you decide to splurge I cannot recommend this enough. It fills in every line on my lips that i didn’t even know I had. I wear this with or without makeup, with or without lip liner etc. it lasts quite long on the lips too. Slightly minty but doesn’t sting and is so soft. I wish I didn’t like this as much as I did because the price is absurd but it’s La mer — you’re paying for the skincare ingredients. Beautiful packaging too. I finished one tube and was trying to avoid buying another but realized I was really Missing it.

A glossy liquid lipbalm. LOVE!

I love this gloss, a 5-star product but lost a star because of the price! I love this gloss, which to me, has been a gloss but turns into a liquid lip balm. I feel like it does some good to your lips! Even after the gloss has faded, my lips are left with softness, healthy looking and the mint flavour from the beginning changed into a slight sweetness. No tingly feeling nor burning. I have not seen any plumping either. I would really describe it as a glossy liquid lipbalm. Plus the packaging is so luxe! I would buy this again but during the VIB sales! I truly recommend! Hope this helps!

Drying, no plump & La Mer won't honor return policy

Very unhappy with this product and unfortunately I am not allowed to return it. When I was new to La Mer it took me a while to discover which products were right for me and I was highly encouraged by multiple representatives to return anything for which I wasn't 100% satisfied. What they didn't tell me was that after several returns they would no longer accept any returns for any reason. What La Mer doesn't understand is that when a buyer like myself purchases a greater than average number of products, they are statistically going to have a greater than average number of returns. So BUYER BEWARE THAT DESPITE WHAT LAMER.COM TELLS YOU, YOU ARE ONLY ALLOW A LIMITED NUMBER OF RETURNS, after which you will be cutoff from returning anything for the rest of your life. If I wasn't disabled I would only purchase La Mer products at a department store where they appreciate a loyal customer, it is too difficult for me to get out.So back to this lip plumper, the one thing I liked about it was the shine and subtle color, but I can get that for $10 at the drugstore. This product dried out my lips, lasted about a nanosecond and was very sticky. It also had absolutely no plumping effect. Very disappointed, and now I'm stuck with a product for which I'm less than 10% satisfied.

Looks like a vape pen

I am a longtime user of Lamer products. This is the first one that I was disappointed with. I wasn’t impressed with the moisturizing properties. Several friends who witnessed me using it asked if it was a vape pen 😳. I was horrified to find out what vaping meant. Either way, I won’t purchase another one.

No Fillers or Botox for Me!

A good Lip treatment-like balm with subtle mint, I actually like. La Mer lip Volumizer lasts on my lips a good while giving them a natural light pinkish glow. Seems to feed the lips instead of just sitting on top of. Although it being a glossy formula it feels like it improves my lip skin. Adds lightness to the lips which appears to add volume to my already naturally (thanks mom and dad) full lips. : )My only wish for this would be is La Mer to add some real finely milled Pearl mica shimmer to this.I also purchase La Mer's 9g Lip Balm which is a heavier true "balm" treatment.

Not what I expected, disappointed.

I've heard about this lip volumizer and decided to try it. When I open the product I saw a black lint or something next to the wand, instantly I was disappointed. I swear on my life I'm not making this up, it wasn't a hair it looked like a lint. I didn't take a pic tho, I just wiped it out with my fingertip and tried on the lip vomumizer. It's not too sticky or too minty, didn't sting. To me it just felt like a regular lip gloss, didn't make my lips look fuller. I had higher expectations on this lip volumizer..... I keep it in my purse cuz it's pretty, and when my lips feel dry or I want something on my lips I put this on. Lasts a couple hours, and has a sweet taste. But definitely disappointed.

One of the best lipglosses i own

One of the very first products i've purchased from La Mer and i sure was not disappointed. I love when a lip gloss has peppermint notes within it as it gives a plumpness to the lip.The colour of this gloss is almost clear with the ever so soft tinge of pink which i love, i think it looks stunning on its own. This product makes my lips look so hydrated and juicy. Im obsessed and im almost OUT! :($130 is a little steep but this product is truly worth every cent! It's a must when i carry around my handbag!

Pretty but misleading packaging

My favorite things about this lip product are the appearance of the container as well as the taste and tingling on my lips. Unfortunately, I have experienced no lip plumping effect. Despite that, I still enjoy using it because it feels good on my lips. My biggest problem with this product is misleading packaging. When you look at it, it's a nice size and looks like it should hold 5 ml to 7 ml of product inside. But that would be incorrect. I would guess there is less than 2 ml of product. The glass is pink to disguise how much product is actually in the container. I used up all the product rather quickly despite only using it twice a day on average. I ordered a second one because I thought maybe I got a dud the first time around. Nope. Same thing.
