La Mer The Reparative Body Lotion 160 ml

I alternate daily with this and lamer body cream. This one gives decent hydration and absorbs quickly. Skin is left silky soft, not sticky at all. The smell is decent, not classic lamer but light enough that it doesn’t bother me. You don’t need much of this when applying because it spreads very nicely. Personally I find it less hydrating then I like (hence I use this in conjunction with the lamer body cream). If you don’t want or need a lot of hydration this is perfect. (If you want a more intense hydration opt for the lamer cream )I do like that lamer products last. I apply this before bed and my skin is still soft and smooth when I wake up. Packing is standard, pump works well. Price point is on point with other lamer products.

Best Lotion Ever

I have very dry skin and have always used very oily lotions to repair my skin. I finally took the leaping splurged on this and I'm so happy that I did. My skin literally feels like silk and I'm never going back to anything else. This fragrance is light and fresh but also doesn't stick so you don't have to worry about it clashing with anything. It's not greasy but it is super affective. I highly recommend this.

Best body lotion, heals sunburns overnight.

The only body lotion I’ve ever noticed a great difference from using. La Mer means “The Sea” and originally started from a man who was badly burned and wanted to use ingredients from the ocean to heal himself which is supposedly what happened. Needless to say, this body lotion absolutely heals sunburns over night. I use this all summer because I am constantly in a bathing suit and have been sunburned many many many times and overnight I am 90% healed by morning. My parents were on vacation in Mexico with me and ended up in the sun too long and anyone that’s been to Mexico knows the sun is much stronger there. I gave them some in a little jar and they couldn’t believe by morning the results. It’s pricy but truly truly worth it.

Great Body Lotion

I love La Mer's Reparative Body Lotion. It doesn't have a strong scent therefore; it doesn't give me a headache. I only use one pump on my arms, stomach and legs following a body oil. My skin is soft all day. I feel taking care of your face and body are important. This lotion is pricey but a little goes a long way. I will continue using for many years ahead.

In Name Only

If you like an expensive NIVEA lotion, this is it. Worse is that after 6 pumps, it quit sending the lotion up. Had to shake and wait - shake and wait. Could be anomaly but returned....who needs to struggle putting on lotion early in the morning, or late in the evening?

Incredible for sunburns

So I purchased this after a trial size was given to me and the scent alone was what sold me originally. Then I ended up with a pretty crispy sunburn while in Mexico and used this to moisturize and that's when I found out how soothing it was. My sunburn was so soothed I could wear a bra after about 20 minutes. If you're a female who's been sunburned you know what I'm talking about in regards to bras after sunburns. I used it again before bed and was able to sleep comfortably then the next morning my sunburn had already turned into a tan on 80% of the areas that were brick red the day before. Everyone on our trip couldn't believe how different my skin was overnight. I cant believe how transforming this product is!!! After reading at Paula's Choice Beautypedia that La Mer products are just voodoo science, I was very skeptical but those reviewers are either wrong or never tried La Mer. First the concentrate and the gel creame has saved my face from retin A and chemical burns. They healed it in 24 hours!!!Next, this product is life changing in just one use! I have lumpy and fold like appearance on the back of my thighs. I am fit and athletic and toned everywhere except the back of my thighs. I have tried countless cellulite and firming creams but nothing worked. Persistent strong synthetic scent.

I really expected to love this product.I tried it on a couple of places on my arms and legs.It gave a beautifully moist look right off.The problem is it smells awful to me. It is a strong synthetic scent that didn’t wear off until I showered.I haven’t used the regular body creme recently, but hope I still love that gentle scent.

I actually really regret ever trying this because it is so amazing I don’t want to use anything else now! Their body cream is excellent as well. Wonderful La Mer scent & Leaves your skin silky and soft not sticky… The pump always works and continues working until the last drop of lotion is gone. A little goes a long time for me, living in a tropical humid climate, I put this on after bathing while my skin is still damp & a littles goes a long way. This lotion really does wonders getting rid of any dry skin & rough areas. Feels amazing on the skin very silky.
