La Mer The Treatment Lotion 100 ml

I've tried over a dozen La Mer products over the years, some great (Hand Crème Lip Balm) and some not so great (The Crème itself). The Treatment Lotion is probably the first LM product that I just don't quite know what to make of! It's got the same distinctive La Mer fragrance and a list of ingredients (including, of course, the Miracle broth) as long as my arm. The texture is a viscous water, like glycerin and water mixed together, it's quite hydrating even used on its own, but it really doesn't seem to serve any purpose if you already use one of their moisturizers, unless you need an extra boost of moisture. If, however you have oily skin like I do and don't require much in the way of hydration, this can work as a stand alone hydrator. One thing you definitely DON'T want to do is 'saturate a cotton pad' as instructed, and then apply to face, because that would just be a blatant waste of product and nothing other than a way to get you to use this up faster! A bit strong perhaps?

First, I LOVE La Mer. The original cream, the tonic - irreplaceable and genuinely skin-transforming. But this dried my skin out and gave me a few spots. This lotion has a gorgeous, almost addictive texture. Heavier than the tonic, it is like a heavy water, or watery oil. The scent is also sublime. And it did brighten my skin somewhat, and made subsequent serums, creams, etc, sink in beautifully. It played well with everything. In the Summer months I could imagine using this as serum and going straight onto cream, spf, etc...And yet whenever I used it I noticed after a couple of days that my skin was drying, becoming sensitive, and, yes, breaking out into a few spots around the chin.Such a shame as texturally this is gorgeous. Must-have in my Lamer collection

I have got really big problems with my skin if I'm getting stressed out, it goes red everywhere and itching badly. I reduced these symptoms by half when I was diagnosed with the food allergy, but it still was there and gave lots of pain and discomfort. I was feeling embarrassed going out and most of the time was wearing sunglasses, so to hide the imperfections of my skin. I have been using this lotion for more than 10 years and never stopped. Travel size is always with me. Even when my skin mega sensitive, the treatment lotion doesn't burn the sensitive areas. So it works very gently. For me it works perfectly.

It preps, energizes, and moisturizes my skin so delicately and effectively and because of the effectiveness of the line, I'm able to walk around the house for hours and even all day after applying this product without even moving forward to my next step which is a serum. Perfect for Sensitive Skin

As someone with sensitive skin, finding the right cream can be challenging. SISLEY Black Rose Skin Infusion Cream has been a game-changer. It’s incredibly gentle yet highly effective in moisturizing and improving skin texture. My skin feels softer and looks more radiant without any irritation. The pleasant rose scent and the luxurious feel of the cream make it a delight to use daily. It’s definitely a splurge, but the benefits for sensitive skin are undeniable.

Think of this as a essence toner, the first product that goes onto the skin after cleansing and exfoliating (personally, I don't use toners) that floods skin with plumping hydration to prep your skin for on coming products. 💚 Great for sensitive skin 💚

For reference, my skin is combination, sensitive, and 'over' reactive, so I have to be extremely careful with what I put on it.A few months ago I had a bad time with a cleansing balm which stripped the life out of my skin. I was left with tight, red and sore cheeks in particular, and needed some serious help.Over night, I used the La Mer Treatment lotion alongside my usual evening moisturiser, and by the morning, most of the redness had gone and my skin was feeling much less angry than prior to it.I think that with continued use, I will see a really great benefit from using this product, and would recommend to anyone who has reactive skin like mine.
