La Mer The Hand Treatment 100 ml

Where has the time gone? It's hard to believe 16 years have passed since I first purchased a trial size of this online, back when the packaging used to mention the formula containing the 'whitening complex' - and when it used to cost a lot less than the $90 it is today! Feels like it was only a few years ago. Despite the ever increasing cost I have re-purchased this several times over the years, whenever I'm not trying out another hand cream or treatment. I'm not a fan of overly rich or greasy hand creams, and this one falls midway between light and rich, with an 'emulsion' like texture. It sinks in fairly rapidly and leaves my hands both plumped-up and moist, but not greasy or oily. My coworkers are amazed at how smooth and wrinkle-free my hands are, especially considering my age. I use it consistently twice a day, along with other La Mer products, and the longer I use it the better my hands look and feel. This is my absolute favorite hand cream. It literally leaves my hands feeling like silk. The smell is pretty potent but it makes me think of La Mer which is one of my favorite skincare brand overall. My only issue is the price and the sizing. I have bought the full size but I prefer the 30ml deluxe sample because it's easier to carry. I wish they sold the smaller size because I would definitely keep in my daily regime

I must say. I think that La Mer is absolutely NOT worth the $$$. It's not a brand that I can use anyway (at least on my face). Too much fragrance, too much nasties, too much everything. Not for combo/sensitive skin. However, the hand treatment is a bomb. Idk what it does, but it makes miracles happen. I have the driest hands on the whole planet, I swear. Nothing works, no treatment at a salon, not a single skin care product. But this hand cream is just amazing!!! It moisturises, hydrates and rejuvenates my skin. There's no dupe to that. The price is outrageous, but I guess I'll keep repurchasing because IT WORKS.

Price point well above average HOWEVER this hand cream is worth its weight in gold. Standard features of any sound nourishing cream; emollient rich so tube lasts and lasts. Provides a protective non-greasy barrier and lightly scented in La Mer ocean freshness.

A Winter Must

I love the original La Mer products, I feel that in recent years a lot of their releases have become expertly marketed, but have failed to pack the punch of the classics, and are a tad gimmicky. That being said, The Hand Treatment is one I will always come back to. I have a terrible, anxious habit of biting my fingernails and picking at my cuticles, and in the winter months, when the skin becomes drier and more chapped, this is a true life saver. In just a couple days, it repairs my skin, heals any cuts, replenishes moisture and makes my hands so soft and silky. It is truly incredible. It is a bit greasy, and does take a bit to fully absorb, but when it does, it is unbeatable. Beautiful soft hands with no wrinkles or sunspots nearing 50

First of all this is the best hand lotion on the market hands down! I work with my hands every day and my coworkers cannot believe I'm nearing 50 and have smooth wrinkle free hands that look better than a young lady's! I use religiously twice a day with my other La Mer products and the longer you use it the younger you're hands look and feel. Even my boyfriend is jealous as he is the same age and has wrinkles and sun spots on his hands. I've tried other hand creams but after finding this I will never use anything else. It is not greasy absorbs well and has a light scent that smells like perfection working. Many ladies cannot believe my age and ask me what creams I use on my hand and face. La Mer Only darlings and I've never felt or looked better. Thanks La Mer!

The Hermes of Hand Cremes?

This product was $45 in 2015. And now, in 2022, it's $90? It's a tiny tube of lotion, folks. Nothing can justify such a steep price increase. The product simply isn't that good. And if you're buying it just for the name on the label, go with one that's known for capricious price increases and buy the Hermes hand creme.

smells amazing and makes my hands look younger

This is my favorite hand cream. The smell is amazing, one of my favorite scents of a body product ever. It’s light, but so beautiful. I do think it could be slightly more moisturizing when used alone, but I use this at night after the La Mer hand serum, and it seriously makes my hands look smooth and younger. I am 40, and while I have taken good care of my face, my poor hands look much older than me! This cream definitely helps.
