Some people might consider these french brown sugar cubes expensive but they are pure quality and worth the extra for the noticeable improvement in taste.I struggle to find decent brown sugar in local shops and brown sugar cubes more specifically seem impossible to get hold of. I tried these out and was pleasantly surprised by the size of the box, which contains around 200 cubes. The cubes arent always the straightest cubes in the world the clue is in the description rough cut but theyre great and make a real difference from refined white sugar or cheaper brown sugar bags, especially if youre using them in decent coffee. Never thought Id write a review about sugar before, nor thought Id need to...however, having become a coffee snob, I decided to sample different sugars.Having been a white sugar man, I decided that Id give brown granules a go, they didnt do much for me, so on seeing these I thought well they look artistic in a glass bowl, like you get in a smart coffee shop, so why not give them a go. As it turns out, these do the trick admirably, I cant really tell you the benefits but for me one cube as a general rule hits the spot. They also look really nice in a glass bowl. The price is quite reasonable for the 1kg box, and I even tried going to another brand but have come back to these. Highly recommend and will be purchasing these as my go to sugar fix...enjoy...

Quality:goodTaste:goodWas expecting individual wrapped sugar cube.But this packet isn't.Individual wrapped is only for the bigger packet.Havent tried this item but ive tried this sugar while travelling in japan. It taste good.
I like the sugar, but not the size of the cubes. Most people I know avoid putting sugar in coffee, but I like a small amount so perhaps I should have been more careful in my purchase.After trying a knife, I hit on the idea of using nut crackers which reduces these quite successfully if done in occasional batches. It is such a pity that they are not made in a smaller size in the first place. Large sugar cubes are unsuitable for healthy living.
The best brown sugar I’ve tried. Makes coffee super tasty without overpowering it with a strong Demerara taste. Takes time choosing the correct size lumps though!
Amazing, amazing, amazing. Just one piece in my morning coffee and the taste is so good. Two pieces is heaven, but I don't want too much sugar early in the morning. The taste is slightly different from the refined white sugar, like caramel. Highly, highly recommend. I am about to order my second box.
very tasty, good for espresso, melt on top of a pear, but look one product above: twice as much for a dollar less; that's right; this product is 8.8oz and costs a dollar more than the product just above providing twice as many cubes; why can't walmart write an algo that compares prive per amount and post the best deal first? ight at least drive off some of the gouging sellers
